⭐️Back West in November- Tour⭐️

My dear WA fam and friends, I’m headed West in November- in the great Southern a Southwest to be specific. I’ve got some really beautiful gigs and a festival I’m most excited to be a part of so I’m just giving you the heads up in case you are in and around any of these parts. Cos I’d love to see you.

Today I was doing my little admin jobs, working from my hand written big list and listening to take 5 on abc listen with Zan Rowe and it was a beautiful episode of songs of change with Peter Garret from Midnight Oil and as I worked away I was absorbing the songs and the stories of being on the road with Warumpi Band and the immense impact their songs have had in this country. And among lots of little gems in the chat there was this quote. I’ve been feeling something of this lately- not quite able to article it as succinctly. So I’d like to share his words with you.

East Coast Folks! It tis gonna be Berry much A Day Well Spent next Sunday the 20th in the tiny town of Berry NSW (see what I did there) where a bunch of us folk musos will play in different venues at different times and you can walk from one to the other catching all the music.

And I’ll be singing at @lebar.co from 3-4pm 🌞

Thank you Broome.

I think I’m still coming down from the big homecoming. It was definitely a special one and there’s many people to thank. Mostly the friends and family and Rubibi music lovers who supported the show, got tickets and got down early.

Big thanks to the wonderful @jadahunter98 for gifting us with her songs to begin the night, shoutout to @diverstavern for hosting us and to Mick Stephens @red_earth_sound for making it sound wonderful. To my rockstar band @elwoodgray, @eddohine, Arnhem Hunter and the man of the moment @wilthomasmusic.

Big love to the line dancing queens who stepped the crowd through Wiley Blue- @esthertavui, @sampigram__ @claudiaberson @jessiebhuntley (and crew).

AND to the family who pull it all together, Mum on the door with @moniquebroome, Aunty Cardi on the merch, Chicky on the cam corder, Dad holding the beer and merch Queen @marnieoliver. It’s a team effort and I’m pretty lucky to have one helluva team.

🌟TONIGHT!! Broome Town🌟

It’s zero sleeps left until we get to party at @diverstavern. Doors open at 8pm.

There still some online tickets until 6pm then door sales from then. Best ya take the slight discount and grab a ticket before the door (in my humble little opinion).

Cannot wait to see you all there 🌻
