welcome, to my second studio space:)

i’m incredibly, incredibly grateful to have my headshots taken by the wonderful @lowe_stuart and may have used these photos as an excuse to finally launch off this account.

having met so many inspiring artists, musicians, friends in my past four years at the rcm, itd be silly to not share some of that joy! (starting this account was long overdue..) in this first post, i want to thank everyone, again and again, that has been a part of my life. im reminded of how blessed, how fortunate i am, to have music in my life, and to connect with all of you. at the very same time, it truly feels like a privilege to live this struggle of a journey that is, being a musician.

treating this account like a little creative experiment! if you are even just a little curious, why not tag along with me? by @adella.wav

PAUSE!!

To our toronto friends ‼️‼️- this saturday the 15th at 5pm, Melody and I will be presenting the finale to our Kaleidoscope series🌈

For a series centred around themes of colour, we wanted to capture a visual map of the colours and textures we found within the music, rather than a traditional written program guide. SWIPE to see our take on a conceptual visual guide to the concert, as a way to translate the program beyond sound, where each shift in colour, texture, movement and atmosphere is hopefully🤞, carried across to you as you listen.

Like a kaleidoscope, the program moves through fragments of very different musical worlds: the intimacy of Schubert, the searching lyricism of Beethoven and Schumann, the rhythmic energy of Kapustin, the vivid colours of Messiaen, the earthiness of Fazıl Say, and the sheer exuberance of Khachaturian. Each piece carries its own language, yet together they begin to form a larger landscape. So on august 15th, we cordially invite you to follow along with your eyes and ears🤭

If you haven’t come to one of our concerts yet, go to my LINK IN BIO FOR THE TICKETS to this last show‼️‼️
