You brought me so much happiness joy and love and for that I will be eternally blessed to have experienced 🕊️

I don’t think I will ever find words big enough for what you meant to me. 11 years with you could never have been enough, but I will spend the rest of my life being grateful that I got those 11 years at all.

Even in your last days you managed to put a smile on my face, bigger than anyone else could. I just hope I could do the same for you.

You weren’t just my dog. You were my safest place, my comfort and the one constant I could always count on. You grew up with me, watched me become so many different versions of myself and loved every single one.

When life became too loud, you gave me peace. When I felt like I couldn’t keep going, somehow having you beside me made me believe I could. You helped me through things you never even knew you were helping me through.

I don’t know how I’m supposed to live in a world without you in it. I don’t know how I’m supposed to come home and not look for you or get through the hard days without knowing you’re waiting for me. But I know I’ll keep going because you spent 11 years teaching me how.

I wish I could have protected you from ever leaving me. I wish I could have one more cuddle, one more look at you, one more ordinary day that I didn’t know would become a memory I’d give anything to have back.

But more than anything, I am grateful.

Grateful I got to love you. Grateful you chose me. Grateful for every memory, every cuddle, every laugh and every moment you made my world feel a little safer.

If I could choose all over again, knowing how badly losing you would hurt, I would still choose you. Every single time.

Thank you for giving me a lifetime of love in 11 years. Thank you for saving parts of me you never knew needed saving.

I’ll carry you with me for the rest of my life.
