Head Coaches!

Lead your staff. Develop your staff. Teach them how you want them to behave & represent YOU & YOUR program.

A large part of the coaching duties & responsibilities are collaborative — But the vision, standards, and program expectations are not.

Don’t assume your staff knows/understands your vision, standards, and expectations. Teach them like you would your players.

Hold them accountable.

Build relationships before you need them. Strengthen trust before it’s tested.

Coaches…

One of the most important leadership skills you’ll ever develop isn’t strategy.

It’s the emotional maturity required to bounce back and recover quickly.

Too many of us give ourselves permission to stay hurt longer than we should. A difficult conversation. A missed opportunity. A betrayal. A season that didn’t go as planned. Before we know it, we’re carrying yesterday into tomorrow.

If you’re hurt, your responsibility is to recover. Protect your confidence. Reclaim your joy. Get back to the mindset that allows you to lead at your highest level.

If you’re injured by an environment that continually damages your growth, your confidence, or your well-being, don’t normalize it. Build an exit strategy.

Your future is too valuable to sacrifice because you stayed frustrated too long… upset too long… hurt too long.

The opportunities you’re praying for require a leader who is present, grateful, energized, and confident—not trapped in yesterday’s battles.
