Imperial Fists 5th Company Ballistic Dreadnought

Finished this guy a while back and thought as I've revisited the Redemptor I'd share this guy again.
Don't think I'll step into a making a Brutalis Dreadnought for my army , however if they upscaled the box dread , I'd be sure to get one as a more Ancient and Veteranised Dreadnought for my Army

Imperial Fist Redemptor Dreadnought !

Had this guy a little while but he needed a touch up, wasn't happy with the red cannon so updated him to a black one and he looks less cartoonish.

God I love the Yellow and Black combo 🔥🔥🔥

Hive Fleet Kraken Von Ryan's Leapers 🔥

Loved painting these guys , much quicker and more relaxed with the contrast paints , especially enjoyed arranging the jungle bases with the tufts and plants . Now to start the Biovore

Pegboards are up !
Now to put railing up for the Besta units 👍

In the future I would like to get acoustic wall panels over the wall, a little bit for aesthetics but mostly for cable management so I can keep everything hidden behind.
For now though I can start planning prints to go on the Skadis, open to suggestions 👀

It's subtle but shaded Termi on right , Seraphim Sepia recess shading, pops just right after highlighting , if I go any darker it's a really big contrast after final highlights stage 😅
Not going to put anymore time into tidying yellow or I'll never get anywhere, perfect being the enemy of finished and all

Getting there with the yellow , painting the under armour always spills black over the armour and a lot of areas still quite transparent so it's taking a lot of layers to cover nicely 😅

Complete Aegis Defence Line

As a Fist player it's only natural my first Astra Militarum painted mini be a Wall , and what a great kit it is to paint! It's usefulness in play is challenged however I will stay strong and continue to add it to my list, it adds a lot of flavour to the battlefield , I just really need some painted Cadians to hold the line !

(This is very hard to get in a picture given it's dimensions 😅)

Redemptor Plasma Cannon = Finished 🔥

Really happy with how this turned out! Had a go with white ink for plasma glow which I feel I could have done better with but it's a good first go , never been fond of highlighting black but it worked great and even got to add a few scratches in , was thinking of making the front of the barrel silver so I could add thermal burning but I thought it might be too much silver

Did a few test schemes , now I'm starting off the batch across the team with Eshin Grey under armour which will be washed in black to save me highlighting it , then it will be the huge yellow clean up 😅

Been a very long 7 hour painting session , but very happy that I've smashed through all the highlighting and oxidising and it's looking great . Final step on these walls is the dirt pigment along the bottom , but that's a job for another day as I can barely feel my hands 😅

Got my footprints printed , loving the tiles lining up and linking with GW buildings , just need a few more !
The long strips take plasma conduits but I think some mechanicum pipes will do the trick temporarily
