Something new is sitting at the table… 🤎

For a while, I’ve been thinking about what I really want MBRWoman to become

Yes, fashion will always be a part of us. But MBRWoman has grown into something bigger for me

It’s about the woman behind the clothes;
Her story
Her work
Her life
Her dreams
Her challenges
Her becoming.

So, I’m bringing you The Becoming Table, a space where we sit with women who are evolving, building, leading, creating and becoming.

We’ll have real conversations about the things we don’t always get to see behind the success, the journey, the lessons, the failures, the wins and everything in between.

And I’m excited because our very first women are coming to the table. 🤎

But this table isn’t only for the women we feature, It’s for you too.

If you know a woman whose story deserves to be heard, you’ll be able to nominate her to join us at the table and if you’re in your own season of becoming, I hope you find a little bit of yourself here.

As part of her experience, she will receive:

A bespoke dress designed and created in collaboration with her wardrobe

It started with a skirt.

Long before I called myself a fashion designer, I was simply a woman who loved creating for women.

I studied Statistics and went on to build a career in HR, working across oil & gas, real estate and consulting. But even while building my corporate career, I kept making clothes.

What started as a passion slowly became bespoke.

Then the vision grew.

Today, that little passion has evolved into two expressions of the same dream ; MBRWoman, our bespoke space, and Mbrwomanrtw, our ready-to-wear space.

Different expressions, but one heart: creating fashion that makes women feel confident, beautiful and completely themselves.

I didn’t have a perfect plan when I started.

I just started.

And today, I am building with it.

Still learning. Still creating. Still becoming.

This is my story.

Celebrating @mobilebraidsng!

I’ve known this woman since school, and one thing I can confidently say is that her work ethic didn’t start with MobileBraidsNG.

I’ve watched her show up with so much dedication in the different workplaces she’s been in, committed, hardworking, intentional and always giving her best. So seeing her build something of her own today is such a beautiful full-circle moment. 🥹❤️

And what I admire even more is the kind of CEO she is becoming.

Recently, she started an incredible initiative to reward her staff, sending her overall best-performing staff on an all-expenses-paid trip abroad! ✈️🌍

How generous is that?

It’s one thing to build a successful business. It’s another to remember and celebrate the people who are helping you build it.

I’m genuinely proud of you, my friend. My Scholar from school days, to watching your dedication in the workplace, to now watching you build your own empire ; what a journey! 👏🏽❤️

Keep building. Keep rewarding excellence. Keep being the kind of leader people are proud to work with.

I’d usually keep moments like this to myself, but today deserves to be shared.

Today, I have the privilege of speaking on “Strategic Planning: Building Vision, Driving Results.”

It’s a reminder that success doesn’t happen by chance. Every thriving business, career, and dream begins with a clear vision and intentional planning.

I’m looking forward to sharing lessons from my journey as a fashion entrepreneur, my background in HR, and the practical strategies that have shaped my path.
