Goodbye 2023 and hello 2024!! Last year was an interesting year for me, I was challenged, stretched, pulled, pushed, got lazy, allowed doubt to creep in, was complacent, made mistakes, took some L’s, but I also met some amazing people, learnt valuable lessons, followed my passions, turned my hobby into something and now I’m looking forward to this new season and chapter. I was fortunate to have travelled to The Bahamas, Finland, Germany, Italy, Mexico România and St Lucia taking me to 30 countries visited which is great but there’s so much more of the world for me to see. I took my health for granted and didn’t push myself consistently enough through the year but 2024 I mean business all in areas. My focus for the year will evolve around my Faith, my Family, my Finances, my Fitness and my Future. Here’s to a year full of new possibilities, here’s to 366 (leap year) new days and 366 new chances, here’s to a new year with new adventures and opportunities. It’s not the years that count, it’s the memories you make over these years. The past year definitely has had it challenges and personal tragedy in the family, with friends, failed relationship I could go on but I’m still here. Life is too short to solely focus on the negative so whilst I have breathe in my lungs, a functioning brain, good health and mobility I’m going to live!!! I did this when I was returning home from my trip to Dubai, totally changed my perspective when it comes to travelling, I was able to make connections with people at the bar ON-BOARD the plane, eat as much as I want, drink as much as I wanted then relax on the fold out bed. This isn’t a message to flex on you but I’ve found with me once I’ve been exposed to better or experience nicer things it’s so hard going back to old ways. I’ve already booked my business tickets for my trip to the Bahamas in the autumn.
