A chance missed, early earned.

Took in this scene at Mount Teide while traveling through the Canary Islands last year. Contemplating a chance not taken, one that came very early on in the life of the project.

We weren’t expecting it when the call came, it caught us by surprise. Will we be prepared the next time. That’s the way to look at these things. So Come, So Goes.

Our first music of 2026 is out on @anjunachill

'So Comes / So Goes' delves into a very expressive side of @adharmonium. It's our first quote un quote dance track put out to the public.

Both are to be taken together as a whole with an outro blending into the next. Same core chords structure is found in both but were written 3 years apart.

Inspiration was taken from @johnhayesmusic @haniarani and @niklaspaschburg which you can hear in the rapid piano, atmospheric textures and swooning swells.

So Comes traces the way moments arrive without warning. So Goes is an elegy for things fleeting. Together the EP is about the way life passes us by. How things are here for one moment, then gone the next.

To us, these tracks offer a stoic acceptance of what will be, will be; that there is “a time for this, a time for that”, to echo the Book of Ecclesiastes.

Thank you for listening and sharing with your friends. It means so much to hear where our music reaches.

South African twosome @adharmonium return to Anjunachill today with two new tracks, ‘So Comes’ and ‘So Goes’.

A more electronic-laced release than their previous offerings on the label, this two-tracker swells with tension and release, inspired by “fleeting moments that arrive and leave without warning”.

Behind the scenes. La Ferme

In Autumn 2021, we left the city behind for a moment and headed out into the countryside. Tucked away on a hill stood a wooden cabin. Away from distraction, we recorded and improvised together.

Little did we know, years later those fragments would turn into our EP release with @anjunachill. It shows that it’s okay to take your time, when it matters, and don’t let the need to rush into things compromise your vision.

A semblance of home.

We both grew up in South Africa, a land of immense natural beauty and wonder. We can’t ignore the strong influence it has on us, that can’t be overstated.

We try to tap into a classical music format and traditional style, whilst also try to be innovative and experimental with the sounds that shape where we’re from.

We like to draw on a lot of ambient textures, a lot of our backup sound in our tracks are live recordings taken from the place that we were recording.

It’s all about bringing a sense of sound that you can feel around you.

‘Tintswalo’ is available on #Spotify, #AppleMusic #YouTube and everywhere else you listen to your music.

Do what you can with what you got.

Our process has been shaped by the demands of mobility— Anything but sedentary. That’s reflected in our gear: lightweight, minimal, and durable.

We’ve even had to let go of some.
Like the time Chad had to leave his 88-key Yamaha at the airport in Vietnam—
The surcharge to board it was just too steep.

What we’ve learned from all this: don’t let the feeling of insufficiency hold you back, or prevent you from creating.

We trust there’ll come a time when we’ll have the privilege of working with world-class setups and beautiful instruments.

Until then, we’re grateful for what we’ve had to make use of.

‘Falling’ moves like memory.

The powerful statement of the organ and steady piano with glimpses of breakbeat. It tumbles, rises, repeats. There is weight in the rhythm, and then release.

Falling this the second track on our debut EP with @anjunachill. These recordings were shaped more by what we feel than what we know.

With influences from Nils Frahm’s ‘Sunson’ and Maribou States essential ‘Portraits’ album, Falling opens with a powerful statement of reed organ.

A descent, not into darkness, but into humility; a sombre procession of trombones contrasted with jazzy piano groove. Accompanied by an eclectic assortment of fragmented break-beat drum patterns.

It’s our way of adding groove into a neoclassical context.

The moment between leaving and arriving.

‘Words’ is rapid, tactile, inward.
an invitation to drift—
to get lost in thought before finding your way again.

The first single of this years Piano Day compilation, it was described as “Avant garde and deeply expressive”.

“We don’t really know what to do about ambient music.

Dance is the opposite, right? Your body knows what to do with a beat. And Classical; it teaches you how to listen, giving you something to do.

We haven’t quite figured out what the ‘doing’ of ambient is. That’s why it leaves you vulnerable, because it catches you having to think about what to think about.

I can see why for many that’s a daunting experience, but for others it’s actually liberating” - felt habit

‘Tintswalo’ is a melancholic landscape of ambient textures which builds slowly towards something warm, and hopeful.
