From batik, I learned about consistency and trust in the process. We can appreciate beauty from afar, but we fall deeply in love with it once we are truly part of it.

🎮✨ From Childhood Memories to the Concert Stage

Founded by Armiya Husein in April 2026, Taman Kota Ensemble brings together musicians of different ages, musical backgrounds, and skill levels—all sharing a love for making music and growing together.

What began as a three-part flute ensemble has since grown to include brass, woodwinds, and piano, reflecting the ensemble’s ongoing journey of musical exploration and collaboration. 🎶

For this special performance, we are honored to present an arrangement by Michelle Quinsa, a composition student at Universitas Pelita Harapan.

And this time, we’re taking you on a little trip down memory lane. 🕹️🍄

Through our performance, we hope to bring back the joy, excitement, and nostalgia of childhood afternoons spent playing Mario Bros.—one familiar melody at a time.

So sit back, enjoy the music, and let the memories play. ❤️

We hope you enjoy the performance! 🎵✨ taken in Jakarta, Indonesia by @adhiputeraf

Far from perfect, but I gave it every ounce of my heart.

Thank you @angelicaliviana @pianoandco_ @uphmusic for providing the stage and making this incredible event happen. It’s an honor to be a part of it.

TAMAN KOTA WIND ENSEMBLE!!! YOU’RE ROCK! 🤘🏼💨 Thank you for the countless hours of practice, and the beautiful process we shared.

And of course, deepest gratitude to my coach, Non @armiyahusein. Thank you for pushing my limits, for the wisdom and the constructive critiques.

And lastly, to myself: thank you for showing up, pushing through the nerves, and giving it your all 🪈 taken in Universitas Pelita Harapan by @adhiputeraf
