Nguyễn Hiếu Ngọc is a multidisciplinary artist based in Saigon, working across performance, installation, and sculpture.
Ngọc works with sensation and is interested in the tension between inner chaos and outward stillness, seeing the body as an in-between space that holds memories and emotions in constant movement. His works emerge from presence, personal observations, and a sensitivity to space, time, and the things unfolding around him.

“I bring together paradoxes and desire: the fragility of tissue paper, something that touches the most private depths of the body, absorbing human intimacy only to be discarded and rejected and the tangled grid of overhead wires, the chaotic artery of Saigon, suffocating yet vibrating with an uncontrollable energy.

Body, tissue paper, and wire merge into a hybrid structure: retaining and leaking, constricting and dissolving. Neither liberation nor confinement, but a suspended state between two poles. Saigon Baby is born from this structure, an attempt to anchor drifting fragments of emotion within a city that never stands still.”

CHRONOMORPH

A sculptural multimedia installation created at the intersection of performative art, engineering, and philosophy. It becomes a living architecture of time — a chronoform: a body in transformation, a machine of perception, and a witness to the fragile dialogue between humans and artificial intelligence.

The work is inspired by Richard Brautigan’s iconic poem All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace, in which the future appears as a utopian symbiosis of nature and technology:
“I like to think (and the sooner the better!) of a cybernetic meadow where mammals and computers live together in mutually programming harmony...”

In this work, trust, progress, and memory are embodied not through words, but through matter and light, movement and engineered structure. CHRONOMORPH exists on stage as a character — a technological archetype reflecting human inner states, the urge to keep pace with progress, and the uncertainty of who will ultimately share the fate of creation: artificial intelligence or its creator.

PANTERRA is an artistic practice working at the intersection of spatial installations, architecture, and technological environments. The project focuses on creating configurations and objects in which a holistic system of perception emerges.

The work was exclusively created in collaboration with @performa_moscow and continues its life in a new interpretation at @intervalsfest.

Imagraph by @goki_muramoto

Imagraph is a 2024 interactive art installation created by Japanese media artist Goki Muramoto. This custom-built headset beams video directly onto a person’s closed eyelids.The device uses thousands of tiny, flexible glass threads called optical fibers. These fibers run from an overhead LED screen straight down to the user’s face, carrying light directly to the skin. Because human skin naturally blocks out most colors and makes everything look red, Muramoto programmed the video to use extra blue light. This blue light cancels out the warm tones of the skin, allowing the viewer to see a wide range of clear colors with their eyes closed.Even though every person is shown the exact same video, everyone sees something different. Tiny eye movements and individual differences in skin thickness mean that the final images are created inside the viewer’s own mind.
