In my first year of acting school I wanted to bring a song to the class and @guyfrati told me I should pick another one because it didn’t suit my voice or my typecast.

He may have been right. As an actor you’re often concerned with what will look or sound the best on you, what will make that scout or director in the crowd take notice. But sometimes you want to play a role because it won’t look good on you, because it’s different, far away.

Last week I brought that song to the class thanks to @musicals_il .
