Layla’s health cannot sustain a summer under a tent or in a tin box. She has a confirmed Idiopathic Basal Ganglia Calcification (IBGC), which is symmetrical. This means her brain is starting to calcify, and the neurological emergency has become dire.

IBGC’s alone can cause Parkinsonism, dystonia, chorea, ataxia, gait disturbance, seizures, cognitive decline, dementia, memory impairment, executive dysfunction, psychiatric symptoms, psychosis, speech difficulties, swallowing difficulties, headaches, neurodevelopmental delay… and they’re still investigating the cause which very well could be thyroid related.

Aya and her family urgently need our help! Aya’s mother and father are chronically ill. Both require medication the costs hundreds of dollars a month.

Her brother is also suffering from severe malnutrition. Aya has been dealing with intense pain from her teeth. She has not been able to afford the dental care she needs.

The situation in Gaza is still catastrophic. Food shortages are approaching famine levels again. Families in tents are being overrun by rodents and insects. Diseases are spreading with little to no access to treatment. The occupation has and continues to violate the “ceasefire” every day. Donations have slowed to almost nothing for families in Gaza, when they need it more than ever.

Please show your compassion and solidarity. Don’t assume someone else will. Our support is their lifeline.

I don't know why, but I seriously don't give a damn about Fifa, maybe bcs there is no celebration, no peace in the gstrip. Every day there is a new m@ssacre and there is no end. Shadi and his siblings miraculously escaped death twice in 1 month. Shadi has already suffered so much. Words are not enough to describe his pain.
