Then it gets earthy and powdery.

And as it settles, something animalic starts to come through.

That contrast is

@amouageofficial - Myths Woman

A bold, melancholic green floral chypre.

Green, smoky and slightly bitter at the opening. I get the violet leaf and narcissus, with a soft spicy floral touch from the carnation.

As it settles, the oakmoss, leather, musk and ambergris become more noticeable. Earthy, mossy, slightly animalic and very smooth.

Very old-school Amouage. I really enjoy this one. @amouageofficial - Myths Woman

@henryjacquesparfums - Chalain

It opens fresh and bright, with citrus, aromatic geranium and a touch of spice. As it settles, the iris and jasmine come through, giving it a soft, powdery feel.

The drydown becomes warmer, with opoponax adding a dry, balsamic touch, while musk and vanilla smooth everything out.

Overall, it has that classic French perfume feel. Warm, powdery and elegant without being too sweet.

@dior - Sauvage Extrait

I expected this to be Sauvage, just stronger. And yeah, it’s still very much Sauvage.

Once it settles, the oud comes through quite nicely. Deep, slightly smoky, with a little funk. Not dirty oud, but it gives it a different feel.

I prefer it once it settles. It feels less like the usual Sauvage and a little bolder.

Performance is strong, so I’d go easy on the sprays.

I’d take this over most of the Sauvage line. It’s not completely different, but it has a bit more character. @dior - Sauvage Extrait

@creedfragrance – Iris Debonair

Honestly, this was a really nice surprise from Creed.

It opens bright and fresh, with bergamot, absinthe, pink pepper and cardamom.

After a while, the lavender, violet leaf and fig come through. There’s a soft, slightly sweet green touch.

Then the iris comes out, and this is my favourite part. Smooth, slightly velvety, a little powdery and earthy. Definitely an iris moment.

As it dries down, the ambrette and amberwood add some warmth and a soft woody musky feel.

Really nice scent. It opens with green tea, pear, sakura and osmanthus, giving it a soft, fresh and slightly fruity feel.

The drydown gets smoother with musk and woods, while the Malaysian Oud adds a nice touch of depth. It stays light and comfortable on the skin.

Clean, smooth and relaxing. Definitely something I’d happily wear on a regular day.
