I had the pleasure of dining at Lillie's Victorian Restaurant in Time Square recently, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the gorgeous ambiance—a perfect blend of elegance and charm that transports you back in time. The decor was stunning, with Victorian-inspired details that added a touch of nostalgia and sophistication.

The drinks were nothing short of spectacular. Each one was beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the refreshing flavors and the attention to detail in the presentation.

For the meal, I started with the Salad with Shrimp, which was a delightful combination of fresh, crisp greens and perfectly cooked shrimp packed with flavor. The flavors were vibrant and well-balanced. I also indulged in the Avocado Toast, which was simply divine—perfectly ripe avocado on perfectly toasted bread, with just the right amount of seasoning.

2026 Dam Release White Water Rafting season is here. You should not miss it if you are in NJ/PA area.

I did it last year and it was so much fun. Right from learning to navigate the boat as a group to frantically trading a grade 2 or grade 3 rough white water patch with lots of big rocks in the way or bumping into a rock and getting stuck until someone rescues the raft to accidents with other rafts, picking up fallen passenger in other raft and taking them to their raft - the whole experience is eventful. The views of Leigh High River are gorgeous. The water level is not deep or dangerous at all, but you have to be careful of the rocks in the way. My husband almost fell in the water once and the former US Marine in our raft pulled him back on the raft only with all his might.

Do not skimp on taking the packed sandwich lunch packets (for a fee) of course. But after 2 hours of rigorous rafting, those are some of the best sandwiches you would have ever tasted.

If it rains while you are in the river, you are in luck since it makes the already chaotic experience even more crazy. If a train passes you by, don’t forget to take a pause and watch it.

Finally,make sure you take in every moment of outstanding views of LeHigh Valley.

There must be a minimum number of adults required to board a raft. It is a must to navigate the raft through some of the rough patches. Kids are allowed, but young kids 4-7 years may not be allowed.
