The World Ran

Time, Kali maa, never stands still. Time devours all things. Either dance with Kali maa, or get trampled

Lost in Matter
That's where we are, folks

Hey, lovely people, even after being abused in a date assault last night, I find refuge in these words.

In date assault, victims are often left uncertain about what happened. Did I allow it? It was excessive and even abusive, but did it qualify as assault? It can take a couple days for the emotional bruise to fully develop. It's not that we condone the abuse, it's the fact that we made ourselves vulnerable to this person, and they abused it.

Look, when you tell someone repeatedly that you do not like that, that hurts, and they continue doing it... that is grape.

Let's see how many guys comment 'you let him in'. Come to think of it, wouldn't surprise me if a few cisgendered women said 'you're trans honey you can't be date-graped.'

Ferndale No Kings was much more sedate than all of the previous ones. The rallies did their work, which was bringing people together. But it is time to forge ahead and do something with that community building.

I didn't launch a thousand ships, but I did crash Grindr.

I've been studying Claire de Lune for a couple weeks now. It is intended for the finale of my first formal recital. Right now the piece is playing through my head constantly. I'm becoming totally immersed in it. Other musicians here will understand that phenomena. As a matter of fact, so will all artists.
