Celebration of Life Gathering in Honor of Juan Perez-Castro
July 17, 1978 – October 12, 2026

Friends and family are invited to gather and remember Juan as he is being laid to rest with his family in Cayey, Puerto Rico.

Juan was a man of many talents, hardworking, and caring. Over twenty years of friendship, we shared good times and memories that will stay with us.

Though he didn’t make it back home, we know he is in a better place.

We’ll see him when we get there.

Locals Only Hip.Hop.440 Edition

The night is curated by Hip.Hop.440 as a playlist-to-stage edition of Locals Only, the Winchester’s regular series highlighting local artists. $5 cover / ticket proceeds go to the performers.

Featuring live performances from Vigatron, Eliy Orcko, King Pala, Domingo Kite, and Tay Mac from AKA & Company.

DJ Moist handles the room between sets with 90s hip-hop and R&B.

A night of whiskey, history, and some seriously good food at Speak of the Devil.

Had the chance to sit in on a Jack Daniel’s tasting featuring the Heritage, 10, 12, and 14 year expressions, along with a Strawberry Buck made with Old Forester Rye. Every pour brought something different to the table, but what really made the evening was the conversation behind the whiskey.

Dan from Superior High Proof brought the knowledge, the stories, and the history of Jack Daniel’s to life. It wasn’t just a tasting it was a little education, a little appreciation, and a damn good excuse to gather around a table with good people.

And while the whiskey was definitely why we showed up, Jack Maples Plates stole the show. The food was the perfect companion to the tasting and honestly became the star of the evening.

Good whiskey. Great food. Better company.
