September has been a big month for coverage, with launch season in full swing.

MasterChef Canada Season 9, MobLand Season 2, House of Ali Season 2, Team Moms: Baseball all premiered this month, plus The Amazing Race Canada came to a close, crowning Hamilton twins as the Season 12 winners. So much must-watch TV and so much press coverage. As always, we are very grateful to our media friends and colleagues.

This season of @masterchefcda features 16 home cooks and TL has been busy lining up interviews for them from coast to coast to coast, plus running a weekly press day following each episode.

For MobLand S2 on @paramountplusca, we were able to secure key media precious time with the incomparable Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan, as well as Tom Hardy and cast out of the London junket.

Interest for Season 2 of House of Ali was truly incredible. It’s not typical that a campaign for a follow up season will trump the inaugural one, but this one did — though it’s no surprise given @alibuddinterior’s immense talent and larger-than-life personality.

Team Moms: Baseball executive produced by @kimkardashian seems to be a hit. If you’re into a Housewives x Dance Moms crossover, you should check this out on @paramountplusca. @adriennekalis really brought this one together on an especially tough timeline.

The Amazing Race Canada continues to dominate the summer TV season, weighing in once again as the #1 summer series in 2026. As always, thank you to @rise.pr for having us on the team again this year! Congratulations to @tinaandliz on an epic, epic win! by @adoary

House of Ali Season 2 is in full swing - the second episode airs tonight on @homenetworkca. And because this is my feed, I have to gush a little.

Not only did @tlhemming lead this press launch, but she absolutely killed it, securing the print trifecta… Globe and Mail, Postmedia and Toronto Star among many, many other key outlets. I couldn’t be more proud! It’s a testament to her hard work and the incredible series (shout out to @nikkiraymediaagency), not to mention the star power of the immensely talented and hilarious @alibuddinteriors, who, since Season 1, has really evolved into a lifestyle personality with design and fashion collaborations and international media coverage, namely a widely regarded People Magazine feature.

If you haven’t had a chance to watch Ep 1, head to @stacktv to get caught up. The spaces featured, designed by Ali & co., are breathtaking, the all-female team camaraderie is inspiring and the never-ending antics are entertaining to say the least. The perfect recipe for a must-watch design meets reality show hybrid. Trust us.

Do These 3 Things to Have Your Pitch Opened

1. Focus on the subject line
2. Lead with the story (not the person)
3. Make it feel like you actually know the outlet

Our summer 2026 coverage report is here!

Although @tlhemming and I were able to be (mostly) OOO for a couple weeks this summer, the coverage did not stop. From the inaugural season of Canada’s Drag Race: All Stars and Season 12 of The Amazing Race Canada to a Paramount+ press tours (thanks @lhp_to @adriennekalis @marinpollockk @christinagoods for holding it down), it’s been eventful to say the least!

Working with @rise.pr on @amazingracecda is always a summer adventure. This season especially had many firsts (back to back Face Offs, a non-elimination first episode), but the cross section of teams remain highly sought after by outlets across the country. This season continues until mid-September so there is still time to catch up on @cravecanada if you’ve missed this epic series over the summer.

Season 1 of @canadasdragrace All Stars was, by all accounts, an amazing success. We couldn’t have been prouder of the production team who really stepped it up behind the scenes — it truly showed onscreen, every single week. Our all-drag artist judging panel of @bhytes, @jimbothedragclown and @thequeenpriyanka was a first for the global franchise and deserved some love so we took JIMBO and Pri on the road for a full day of media. JIMBO only brought four suitcases, so you know, it was a light day.

Over the summer at @paramountplusca, Season 3 of Lioness and Season 4 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds premiered to critical acclaim with lots of amazing media garnered by our colleagues - section covers of the Toronto Star, features in CG Magazine, interviews on every TV series running - congrats to the team! Looking forward to a busy fall with this team as well.

And let’s not forget about a special Atlantic Canadian production @thingslikethese_ by Crypretty Media! @alexandramaclean and @nikki_possibilities sat down with CTV Your Morning Atlantic’s @crystaljoygarrett and, along with @martinakelades, had a great chat for CBC Radio Mainstreet NS with @nsjeffdouglas. Martina + @britneycanzi also came to Toronto for big press opps - more coverage to come. Congrats to our fellow Nova Scotians! by @adoary

Love seeing our fellow East Coasters receive national recognition 💐

Our client, Cry Pretty Media’s @britneycanzi and actress @martinakelades touched down in Toronto this week for interviews with @etalkctv and @cp24breakfast’s @jeeyuntv to promote their series Things Like These streaming now on Bell Fibe TV1!

It was a bucket list moment for Martina who dreamed of sitting on the red couch.

As for Britney, she’s manifesting a crave production in her future. 🙌🏼

If you’re a content creator or small business wanting to gain credibility, a new audience and/or see some serious growth, you’re probably trying to work out how you can make the news. And the first step is reaching out to media.

But before you do that, I want to go over some recommendations on what to do BEFORE you even formulate the ideas you will eventually send to land your oh-so precious media hits!

Because… here’s the truth:

Anybody can write a good pitch…and send it to a reporter…and never hear back. If you want to be the person that gets a response, you need to do certain things in advance.

And friends, I’m not going to lie. These things can take time, but I promise you, they are worth it to get to the end result.

Today we’re shining a spotlight on an East Coast project — Halifax-made dark comedy, THINGS LIKE THESE — premiering today on Bell Fibe TV1.

Produced by @britneycanzi, created and written by @nikki_possibilities, directed by @tobilaurencreative, and starring @martnakelades and @alexandramalean, there are fellow Nova Scotians both behind and in front of the camera. TL and I are so proud to help showcase such exceptional talent from our home province.

@thingslikethese_ follows the James family through loss, addiction, mental health struggles, and dysfunction as they try to find their way. These difficult topics resonate with so many, and we’re so happy the conversations sparked by the series can continue through media coverage.

@tlhemming has been leading this project and sends a big thank you to all our media friends who have supported the series and to those with interviews still to come.

And yay for this Atlantic Canadian production getting a national premiere!

Fans have been asking for it and it’s finally arrived. Canada’s Drag Race: All Stars premieres tonight at 9pm ET on @cravecanada. To be honest, I’ve been asking for it too…for years. So this project was a full circle moment.

The first season of @canadasdragrace was filmed before COVID and aired during the pandemic. One of the only new series to premiere during the time. Fans devoured it and the media was in love. I fell in love with drag that first season too. The stories, the performances, the artists. It was a whole new world for me and I learned so much that first season.

If you’re a fan, you already know Season 1’s @jimbothedragclown and @thequeenpriyanka are joining @bhytes on the epic first-ever all drag queen judging panel… so our press day together last week was quite the reunion. So many of our cast have had amazing success and it reminded me how lucky @tlhemming and I are to be a small part of this global phenomenon.

As for this season of All Stars, I see it as a Love Letter to the fans, the cast and the crew of past and present. I can attest, this edition is most certainly worth the wait and a cut above the rest, largely due to seasons and seasons of learnings. And the reason we have those seasons is because the talent and demand were there.

To all of the queens who have ever appeared on our show, I’m forever grateful for your patience, professionalism and hard work. Working with each and every one of you has been an honour and a pleasure.
