Whew… today was a big one. 🥹❤️

Taylor’s first day at USC Upstate! 💚 Soooo excited for her!

She’s our first child to transfer schools, so this whole process has been new for all of us. And I have to say, it made us realize pretty quickly just how much SMC had it together. They really held our hand through so much!

But today starts a new chapter. And as her Mom, I’m just so dang proud of her. ❤️

I hope this year is full of new friends(yes talk to people) new experiences, lots of growth, some fun, and maybe a little (ahhha we know a lot) of studying too. 😂

Taylor, I hope you have an AMAZING year. Enjoy it. Soak it all in. And know I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.

🌿 And if you haven’t explored out back lately, follow the path down to the creek! You’ll see the areas we’ve cleared for our future yurts and the spot near the deck where we’re dreaming of adding a pavilion.

One thing at a time…but we’ll get there! 💛

Bend Fit is so much more than yoga. It’s movement, friendship, laughter, connection and COMMUNITY. None of these dreams would be possible without all of you.

Self-Care Saturday 🤍

Today was one of those days that filled my cup in all the right ways.

It started with a slow wake-up — no rushing, no pressure — just easing into the morning and heading to Bend Fit for an amazing 8:15 hot yoga class with Jewel. There is something so good about moving your body, sweating, breathing, and letting go of all the things that just don’t serve you anymore.

From there, we headed out with such an amazing group for a beautiful, easy hike. We walked, talked, laughed, enjoyed being outside, and just spent time together without the distractions of everyday life.

And of course, we finished it off with an incredible lunch (Fork and Plough had a 1.5 hour wait so we quickly shifted) at STIR in Greenville - good food, great conversation, and even better company. ❤️

Days like today remind me that community is about so much more than seeing each other in a yoga class or at work at Bidslot. It’s about getting outside the studio walls and actually getting to know one another. It’s sitting around a table together. It’s walking beside someone and hearing their story. It’s laughing, connecting, building friendships, and creating relationships that go deeper than a quick hello. Actually hanging out.

That’s what I want Bend Fit to always be about. That’s what it will always be about.

Yes, we do yoga. But the bigger dream has always been connection, community, love, friendship, and creating a place where people genuinely feel like they belong.

Self-care isn’t always being alone. Sometimes self-care looks like surrounding yourself with good people, moving your body, getting outside, sharing a meal, laughing a little louder, and making memories together.

My heart is full today. 🧘‍♀️🥾❤️

Thank you to everyone who spent their Saturday with us. This is what community is all about. 🤍

Help us make our July 4th Community Celebration a success!

We’re looking for friendly volunteers to help throughout the day with greeting guests, assisting vendors, keeping things running smoothly, and more. Even volunteering for just a couple of hours makes a huge difference!

🗓️ July 4
🕛 Event: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Choose the time that works best for you:
• 12:00–2:00 PM
• 2:00–4:00 PM
• 4:00–6:00 PM
• 5:00–7:00 PM (help with cleanup)

Whether you can give 2 hours or more, we’d love to have you! This celebration is all about bringing our community together, and it takes amazing volunteers to make it happen.

Join us on July 4th for the Boiling Springs America 250 Community Celebration from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at First Baptist Church Boiling Springs!

We’re excited to welcome live music from Joy Holden and Theo Michael, along with 43 confirmed vendors and 23 food and drink vendors. You’ll find local businesses, arts and crafts, history exhibits, community organizations, delicious food, and so much more.

This event is completely FREE for the community and wraps up at 6:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to head out and enjoy fireworks wherever you’d like that evening.

Come spend the afternoon with us, support local vendors, enjoy lunch, connect with friends and neighbors, and celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday together.
