ADOPTED ✅ 🐾 MEET GUPPY! STILL LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER FAMILY! 🐾 A1298326
Just look at this handsome boy!!! 🥹💙 Guppy has had LOTS of interest, but unfortunately, no one has followed through yet. He’s still waiting for his forever family, and we need to change that! ❤️
Guppy had the BEST weekend exploring the Katy Trail 🌳🐾 He met some new friends, enjoyed his walk, and even decided the community water bowl was HIS personal water bowl 😂💦 He had such a fun day out, and we can’t wait for him to find a family to make these kinds of memories with every day!
🐶 A little about Guppy:
💙 11-month-old Great Pyrenees/Retriever mix
🐕 Dog-friendly and loves meeting friends!
🏡 Potty trained
🦮 Leash trained
✂️ Neutered
❤️ Healthy and VERY sweet
🪑 Knows sit!
🦴 Takes treats very gently
🎾 LOVES toys, bones, running, and playing
🥰 Absolutely loves getting pets
🐾 Doesn’t bark at other dogs
🌳 Would LOVE a home with a yard where he can run and play
Guppy is a giant puppy with a goofy personality and SO much love to give. He’s playful, affectionate, gentle, and eager to please. Like any young dog, he’s still learning and will need supervision, redirection, and continued training. He may chew things he shouldn’t, but offering him his toys works great! He may also cry briefly when you leave, but typically settles down after about 10 minutes.
Guppy was originally found as a stray and adopted from DAS, but his family returned him after two weeks because their young children were scared of big dogs. 💔 Now he’s looking for a family who understands that behind his big body is a playful, energetic puppy who just wants to be loved.
PLEASE don’t let Guppy keep getting overlooked. 🥹 He’s had so much interest, but he still doesn’t have a home to call his own. He deserves more than temporary adventures and waiting at the shelter. He deserves a family who will commit to him, help him grow, and love him for the rest of his life. ❤️🏡

Just look at this handsome boy!!! 🥹💙 Guppy is an 11-month-old Great Pyrenees/Retriever mix who is basically a giant puppy with the sweetest heart.

Guppy was found as a stray and adopted from DAS shortly after. Sadly, his family returned him after two weeks because they realized their young children were scared of big dogs. 💔 But Guppy is ready for a family who understands that behind that big body is a high-energy, goofy, playful puppy who just wants to have fun!

👀 He’ll need some supervision and training because, like any puppy, he may chew things he shouldn’t! Redirecting him to his toys works great.
🏠 He may cry for a little bit when you leave, but he settles down after about 10 minutes.
Guppy is still learning and growing, but he has SO much love to give. He’s playful, affectionate, gentle, and eager to please. He needs a family ready for the energy, training, toys, bones, and puppy antics that come with him — and in return, you’ll get the sweetest, happiest companion. 🥹❤️

ADOPTED ✅ Day 2 with my perfect puppy!! He was such a good boy when I was at work! He got a bath and is now enjoying a bone and some snuggles 🦭🧼💤 by @adoptabledallas

ADOPTED ✅ Meet Nick A1293468. Nick was found as a stray back in July with his 2 other siblings (Jes and Winston). He was at a temporary foster home for a bit. He has been back at the shelter since 9/13 waiting for his forever home!!! Nick is good with kids, settles well in the car after an initial adjustment, generally good on leash, goes potty quickly outside, loves belly rubs and naps, comfortable with food bowl handling. He gets excited to greet other dogs. Has been extremely sweet and loving to his crate mates. He remembers you and loves to give lots of affection when you visit. Nick is such a sweetheart. Really gentle taking treats. by @adoptabledallas

ADOPTED ✅ I met the cutest baby today at the shelter!!! This is Lobo A1295964!!! He is the sweetest most lovable boy!! He recently got a makeover and is rocking the new look!!! Definitely going to break him out of the shelter next weekend for a doggy Daycation if he is still available 🥹☺️🫶🏼

He peed and went #2 the second we got outside! Poor guy was probably holding it in for a while. He did a little happy dance ( I WISH I got it on video it was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen) and then clung right too me for some pets! by @adoptabledallas

Cuddle Quirks
1. Yes I’m a big boy but I loveeee girly spa nights
2. I only go to the bathroom if I am crawling and sitting on spiky plants/ bushes
No seriously I will hold my pee for hours unless I find a spiked bush
3. I prefer to sit in chairs that are way too small for my size. Even if the couch is open.
4. My second favorite place to go is the kitchen floor. No matter whose house I am at, I’ll find my way to the kitchen floor.
5. Even though I am a big boy and am the size of the hallway I am terrified of vacuums. I run and hide under the bedroom covers when that thing turns on.
6. I don’t like sweet treats or pup cups. Evelyn convinces herself that she goes to Andy’s so she can get me a pup cup… but I never even touch my pup cup and she orders a large custard. by @adoptabledallas
