July - 1 YEAR post #bigchop today! 🥳 Cutting my hair off @ 30 just for the heck of it was a nice experience. Swipe for a countdown ➡️

June - My first puff 11 months post big chop. Truly don’t appreciate things until they’re gone. 😂🌳

Also June 🐞loving a blowout braidout my favorite style for stretch, volume and definition. ♊️

May - I could finally fit my hair into two puff buns!!!🐭

Also in april, did my hair scrunchie hair hack for the first time with mini braids. Such a relief to have my hair tucked away without weave. Tutorial on my youtube for the short braided hair space buns. 👽

March 🍀Fun in Chicago with this adorable style. Great curl definition using wet line gel for the first time. But I then sadly learned wet line gel sucks with almost any moisturizer & flakes lol.

February I was so lazy wore braids all month 💌

December 🎄ft my go to style because… I had little options lol

November 🦃with short braids. Loved this lightweight look and not too heavy on my short hair. My scalp was so tender! The style was difficult to do since I’m not fantastic at braiding tightly with short hair. Was able to hide the flaws with curly crochet pieces ➰

October 🎃 first time doing this look for a wedding and I never went back, as you’ve seen lol. This style got me THROUGH the big chop transition honey 😆

September bandanas & wig caps came to play lol iykyk 👳🏾 tutorial on my youtube channel.

Also in september trying to learn hair styling. I liked the top longer buuuuut it came with its challenges. I often asked myself, is this giving hedgehog? 😂🦔 (Brittany my sister would say yes, yes it is).

August twa & I was honestly still in shock each time i looked in the mirror lol short hair took about a month to get use to seeing myself with🌱 Had absolutely no clue how to style, and the curls were not curling!

I learned scissor shock to curls is a thing! The curlfriends could not find each other. I was missing my long hair but also learning to accept the freedom of such short hair.

July -1st day of big chop ! Went home and picked my hair out a bit☀️
