Jesus Saved My Life — The Reason Why I Sing

Change is inevitable, and not all change is good.
But the change I’ve seen in my life since the Lord saved my soul has been incredible. It’s hard to put into words, but it’s visible — in my life, in my actions, and especially in my worship.

I don’t sing just because I love music.
I sing because it’s when I feel closest to Jesus.
Worship is where I find Him — and I’m stepping boldly into that calling in this next season of my life. I want you to see it!

There are 90-ish days left in the year, so we’re not waiting until January!! I’m doing GO 90!: 90 days of being intentional with God, my body, my goals, my calling, and the things I keep saying I’m going to do.

Not 90 days of grinding myself into the ground. Not 90 perfect days. Just 90 days of choosing to go instead of constantly telling myself “later.”

I started October 1, but if you’re seeing this late, start when you find it.

RISEN was powerful — more than we even hoped for.
The way God moved and met each of us individually was unforgettable.

We praised His name and were reminded of how powerful, how loving, and how amazing He truly is.

Some things make you happy but every so often, you take a chance on that brings you pure joy! This show has been one of my favorite musical theatre experiences since I began loving theatre. From the talented cast and crew to the fjord to the chandelier falling on someone’s head, this show was nothing short of amazing! I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such talented people. Every show was completely sold out and the laughter never stopped. 2 weeks ago I got re-baptized. It’s amazing how God can change you before you even realize it. In January, he told me a city set on a hill cannot be hidden and then he showed me that what he’s going to do with my life is going to take me and him walking together!

God has taken me through so much and I can truly say he is the only reason i’m still standing. He literally tore my acl last year in order to sit me down and get me to listen (i’m about as stubborn as a bull - a bull with control issues) and now he is standing me back up. This is a new thing and it’s beautiful.

Thank you to my @1800prayforme family for your everlasting love and support during this process. A special thank you to @jayenewton for being such a great friend through all of this and for baptizing me. I thank God for bringing me into this community. Another special thank you to @niyahalexis for being a ROCK to help me stand during this time. Thank you for all your advice and wisdom 🤍

Excited to see what God has for me and no matter what, just know that i am loved, i have peace and joy that can’t be taken from me 🤍 by @adoremetia
