We built Digital Karoshi after noticing it in ourselves. The blur between working, resting, scrolling and replying. Being “on” stopped feeling temporary and started feeling structural. Not collapse. Continuity. Somewhere between building narratives and chasing timelines, we realised we were documenting burnout while actively living it. This project became less commentary and more recognition. A mirror, not a manifesto. Side note: we paused work and posting this because we were burnt out while making it. Ironic. Necessary. Shout-out to the team for the patience, grace, and general brilliance. We’re starting 2026 a little more conscious.
