It’s #cookieseason - the time of year where I make more than the usual amount of #cookies and try to expand my #cookiebaking repertoire. I saw the #marthastewartcookieperfection book the other day and decided to go for it. I’m going to make every cookie in here, even the ones that look not good (potato chip cookies??? 😬).
These are goose feet and I will definitely be making them again. They are a light vanilla-orange pastry, soft but crispy on the outside. So lovely. #holidaybaking #russiancookies @marthastewart #cookiesofinstagram #bakersofinstagram #momlife by @adpensabene

Finally finished this #crochetbabyblanket a few weeks ago for my little #rainbowbaby boy. Made from #yarnandcolors cotton yarn and many hours worth of baby naps. Progress on my #tunisiancrochet hat from this month’s @happilyhookedmagazine and #crochetdesigner @onelittlehook I made it through the cable—not gracefully, but I did it. Experienced #crocheters will see a few goofs, but I am embracing the imperfect as art…because aren’t we all imperfect works of art??? Link to Happily Hooked in my bio. by @adpensabene

Extra wide #crochetheadband or #earwarmer made from some leftover worsted weight #indiedyedyarn by @arcanefibreworks in the Foggy Pines color. It’s three rounds of dss followed by 8 pairs of alternating rounds of sc and mini bean stitch, followed by three more rounds of dss. The #merinoyarn is so soft…I used to think I was sensitive to wool yarn, but it turned out I was just using the wrong kind. by @adpensabene

Making the Double Brim Tunisian Beanie from the January 2022 issue of @happilyhookedmagazine (link in comments). The design is by @onelittlehook and is the second pattern I’ve made by this talented #crochetdesigner I wanted to take a picture before I get to the cable section and mess it up…I mean maybe I won’t mess it up, but I’m a #tunisiancrochet novice, so we’ll see 🤞🏻 by @adpensabene

My son brought his Switch upstairs loaded with Zelda and put the controller on my table in case I want to play. I have really thoughtful kids. Today I’m working for the chance to play Zelda and wind down with a crochet project. by @adpensabene
