Snatch! ADE Showcase ⚠️

We’re taking over @basement.ams in central Amsterdam on Oct 22nd, from 11pm and deep into the after-hours, all the way till 8am In partnership with @adpevent and @labelworx 🔥

Everything we do at @snatchrecords is always about family. It’s really important to me that we create a community on the dancefloor, but also behind the scenes, and especially with the DJs who play our parties.

Instead of just announcing the line-up, I wanted to write a little bit about each DJ we booked for our ADE showcase in Amsterdam next month.. as they all have a real reason & purpose for joining us. That’s something I’m very passionate & proud of.

If you’re gonna be out there, I can’t wait to see you.

It was truly emotional to be part of this event and share such an incredible energy with everyone on the dancefloor.

A very special night came about on August 14, 2026, in Taormina, Sicily. While Mt. Etna was erupting, breathing, creating new land, we were creating a musical journey for the first time ever together.
Carl and I started DJing around the same time, and in over 37 years (I first went to the UK in 1989), we have been in the same festivals on different stages but we had never played on the same console or stage together—until now.
Carl had already invited me to play a B2B total Disco set at UNVRS coming up on September 13, but just three weeks ago, he had the idea for us to play together in Sicily, since we were already playing at Movida Beach Club for ADP Events just a day apart—Carl on August 13 and me on August 14.
When the Andrea of ADP Events and the Vivona Brothers reached out with Carl’s invitation to do the B2B, what came to my mind was something Grandmaster Flash once told me years back when Masters At Work received a Lifetime Achievement Award in Miami at the dance awards, “Louie, this was well overdue.”
That’s exactly how I felt.
Carl Cox and I have each made our mark and contributed so much to dance music. Doing this together felt like the icing on the cake.
Then came the question: how would our styles flow together?
I have to say, it was flawless. It felt like we had done it before.
Carl is a total professional, and his energy is magnetizing—he just pulls you in. Now I understand why he wanted to do this in Taormina. It was the perfect test to see how we would flow together.
And that’s how you do a proper B2B. ❤️
Thank you ADP Events, Vivona Brothers and to the incredible people of Sicily and Italy.
