To basketball:
Thank you for being one of my biggest motivators throughout the last 4 years. I always told myself that I wouldn't have made it through college without basketball. I damn near quit 2 years ago, came across a coach that made me lose love for the game. I just knew I had more to prove though which is why I decided to finish out at keystone. Although my career did not go as I wanted it to, I still feel like I made an impact. I showed up every single day, even when I felt extremely unmotivated, unappreciated, and unwanted. I pushed past the opportunities that weren't presented and tried my best for the opportunities that were. I know for a fact I am one of the best teammates someone can have, and one of the best players, a coach can coach. No one dimmed my light. Any person in my shoes would've hung up their jersey a long time ago, BUT ME I BEAT THE ODDS. I DID THAT SHIT. And my journey isn't over yet. I have a lot of gas in the tank. The car is still rolling. Basketball, I love you and thank you for the greatest years of my life. Next chapter loading... sincerely, the toughest cookie in the jar 22. 🧡
