Wedding budgets can change QUICKLY once those real numbers start coming in.

You start with one number, and then come the vendor quotes, deposits, upgrades, little extras… and all those balances that are still due.

After working in the wedding industry for years, and also having experience as a former wedding coordinator, I know how easy it is for those numbers to start adding up.

So I created the ADR Digital Wedding Budget Spreadsheet to help make keeping up with everything a little easier.

1. Know what your venue already provides.
Before renting anything, find out what’s included—tables, chairs, linens, easels, candles, etc.

2. Decide where you want the biggest visual impact.
You don’t necessarily need décor everywhere. Prioritize the areas guests will see and photograph most.

3. Ask about setup + breakdown.

One thing you don’t always see in the final wedding photos is everything that goes into getting the little details just right.

For this beautiful reception at The Vinoy, ADR Decor worked alongside LC Floral Design to provide and set up the taper candles throughout the reception.

When I’m setting up candle décor, I’m looking at things like placement, spacing, height and how the candles work with the florals that are already being designed.

The candles shouldn’t compete with the flowers. They should work together.

And honestly, this is one of the things I love about working with great planners and florists. Everyone brings their piece to the wedding day, and when it all comes together… you get this.

A little wedding tip: If your florist and candle décor company are separate vendors, make sure everyone knows ahead of time who is providing what. It can save a lot of confusion on wedding day.
