Had a fantastic time at the PHA Duryea hill climb in Reading PA. The 109 car got some new (to me) wheels and tires for this event, as well as its new bumper and headlights. This weekend was all about learning how the car handled some significant tire on it, which was an absolute blast. This is a very challenging course, and the high speed section at the end of the Duryea course compared to the Pagoda climb is a real test of grit.

My fastest run at the PA Hillclimb Assc Shenandoah track sprint at Summit Point. At 100.9 seconds, this earned me the win in Sport class for the weekend as well as Sport class PHA track record.

Running this course last year was the first time I’d ever been on track, before the car had any safety installed. Last year in TTS5 class I claimed the PHA class track record at 108.9, meaning I shaved off 8 seconds this year. That record still stands, so the #109 car holds two course records here at the moment taken in Summit Point Motorsports Park by @adrenachromatic

Giants Despair is always a great time, and ‘26 was no exception. Starting in 1906 and marking its 120th running this year, Giants Despair is the oldest motorsport event in PA. Honored to be able to participate, and very proud of the 109 car bringing home a 2nd place finish in the Sport class.

I’m very thankful for the strong support I have from my sponsors, PHA/SCCA, and crew support. I simply could not do this without them.

My fastest run of the day at the 2026 Giants Despair hill climb with a time of 56.8, securing a 2nd place class finish for the 109 car.

So proud of how far I’ve come as a driver over the past 18 months. My support through @sccaofficial and @pahillclimb driving instruction has been enormous.

Thank you to everyone following along, and look forward to more! We still have a handful of events left to round out the PHA Championship Series!

‘26 PAGODA! Had another wonderful weekend with the Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association and BMR SCCA at the 74th Pagoda Hillclimb. The 109 FR-S put in another bulletproof weekend of driving, sliding, teaching, and making smiles. My SCCA novice instruction was terrific this weekend, this was a very challenging hill for me. Greatly looking forward to returning in August for the longer Duryea climb!

Placed second at our first ever hill climb event! The #109 FR-S competed at the Spring Weatherly PHA event this past weekend, which starts the journey towards an SCCA Time-Trials license. Almost ready for body fill, glad I waited to do this until I had more practice with hammer/dolly. This is so much closer than what I was originally going to fill over, shame the access behind the panel is so limited. Heat shrinking also went a long way here, I don’t know why I was so afraid of it before. Either way, time to get mud on!
