We are thrilled to announce that #Spiral has been nominated for two New York Regional Emmys. One for #Societalconcerns and one for #Director (long form post-produced). Thank you so much @nyemmyawards for these nominations. @davidtarleton and I are humbled to share these nominations with our cast and crew from @sudramadept and @su_film_program and @newhousesu as well as with local actors and crew in the #syracuse community. Thank you to the @afaqfilmfestival for selecting #spiral. The AFAQ Film Festival, “The Association for Cultural and Social Cooperation” is in #Germany and we are particularly proud to be a part of it as they focus on films that “address human rights, social justice, migration, conflicts and environmental issues..” they strive “to raise awareness and spark meaningful conversations on these global topics.” Our film #spiral deals with #mentalhealth with college students and the importance of self care and self advocacy when one needs it. #Rocknrollsexmachine was my original solo show and the second @tarletondawnproductions project we made. @davidtarleton executive produced, the awesome @cheraeadams directed it and @cynthiadickson did costume design, plus I had the love and support from so many more. How was this almost 20 yrs ago.? Currently David and I are fine tuning our latest project #Mantra. Like this solo show, the work is personal and autobiographical for me. This show leaned way into comedy, while the other is dramatic.
