THE COUNCIL OF INVOLUTION

Humanity once believed evolution was a staircase: from the trees to language, science, cities and the stars.

But evolution never promised wisdom—only possibility.

We evolved beyond the chimpanzees, yet some of our leaders seem to have perfected the chimpanzee instincts: territory, dominance, tribalism and fear—then added propaganda, bureaucracy and technology.

The chimpanzee fights for territory.

The human invents an ideology explaining why the territory belongs to him.

Perhaps the real measure of evolution was never how far we traveled from the trees, but how far we traveled from the animal within us.

The Council of Involution is still in session.

We are masters at not seeing the obvious. So, our body takes on the connection for us. Once we relieve it of this responsibility, it usually jumps for joy and jumps right out of whatever physical predicament it had to acquire on our behalf. The karmic dumping ground of our body is the storehouse of many memories. Bodies have their own highly effective way of doing the talking.

Not AI. Just a mash-up of real moments, questionable decisions, and a stubborn curiosity about what happens when you turn things upside down.

This is one of my favorite strength movements because it makes absolutely no sense—until it does. It asks me to think backwards, imagine the world upside down, keep my momentum, and somehow find grace in the middle of looking ungraceful …The best way forward is to flip the whole thing on its head. Orelha wasn’t “just a dog.”
He was part of the beach. Part of the community. Part of people’s everyday smiles.

Florianopolis, Brazil, Orelha trusted humans and that trust was betrayed in the most sadistic way. He was tortured and killed by a group of very sick teenagers. They recorded the violence and posted the content on a platform called Discord.
This wasn’t just violence against an animal it was a deeply disturbing act against the innocent.
