Another Saturday, and still no phone call from you. No FaceTime showing the girls at IHOP or Waffle House, destroying the place like only they could. ❤️

I hear you at the grave, because somehow being there makes me feel closer to y’all. I talk to you every day, telling you how much I miss you and Kennedi. Every day when I get home, I tell you how my day went.

I can still hear your voice saying, “Felicia girl, don’t let them people get on your nerves.”
And I would say, “Felucious, don’t forget your own words.”

Then we’d both laugh, and you would say, “You got that.”

I miss those conversations. I miss your voice. I miss your laughter. I miss y’all.
Another Saturday without that phone call, without that FaceTime, without hearing your voice… and it still doesn’t feel real.

William and I would love to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes, love, and support. ❤️

Although this birthday was bittersweet, our family and friends made sure Kenya and Kennedi’s beautiful spirits were present every step of the way. 🕊️❤️

You all made sure the bottles kept coming, the laughter never stopped, and everyone danced the night away. 🥂💃🏽🕺🏽

We are truly grateful for each and every one of you who helped make this birthday one filled with love, memories, and so much joy.

Another Saturday without a phone call or FaceTime from you, so the girls can see and talk to me. Oh, how Kensli misses you and Kennedi. 💔 Every time she comes to my house, she runs to your poster and says, “Mommy, Sissy…”
This pain is different. Even doing the most basic things in life feels hard. Kenya, you and Kennedi didn’t just leave a hole in your family—you affected total strangers, too. The loss and pain reach farther than you could ever imagine.

I know I will never be okay, and I’m learning to be okay with that. Some losses change you forever. I just wish more than anything that I could hear your voices, see your faces, and watch the girls have those moments with you again.

t’s been 1,987,200 seconds since you and Kennedi have been gone… and I miss y’all every single second of every day. 💔
My co-workers gave me this huge basket filled with so much stuff and so many gift cards. The very first person I wanted to call was you. I literally picked up my phone to FaceTime you… and thennnnnn, I remembered y’all are gone. 😭💔

That moment broke me all over again. I miss y’all more than words could ever explain. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever broken. 💔💔💔💔

During this tender season of loss, our family has been lifted by a community whose compassion has carried us with grace. We offer our deepest and most heartfelt appreciation to the following organizations, families, friends, and every individual who stood beside us.
To ALL of our family members and friends—thank you for standing in the GAP with us and for being there whenever and however you were needed. To every family member and friend who traveled near and far to hold us up through it all, we are forever grateful. Your presence, love, strength, and support meant more than words can express.

A special shout-out to The Legacy Closet and Margi Bre—thank you for your thoughtful care, generosity, and meaningful support during such a difficult time. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

To Margate Elementary School, thank you for opening your doors and hosting the candlelight vigil. Your compassion and willingness to provide a space for our community to come together brought comfort to our family.

Baby you was a phenomenal woman, a great wife and an amazing mother… This pain is unbearable and wish this to no one.
