Happy 19, Davis!!!!! My OG little buddy, D, I love you so much!! I cannot believe the years have passed so quickly. Every day, every year, every stage has been so wonderful! One for the books, for sure. Yesterday, in the pouring rain, Davis graduated from Christchurch School with honors. We are so, so proud. Tripp, who also went to CCS, was able to give him his diploma and the school awarded Davis in honor of his grandfather, Dave. It was an emotional and amazing moment. And, of course, we celebrated the rest of the day in true form. Jeep trail rides, an enormous bon fire, fireworks, and dear friends did not disappoint. Davis, cheers to this huge milestone and we are so excited for your next adventure at Dickinson!!! by @adriannebugg

This girl, y’all. She is 100% light and love! When she was born, we called her Sprite because she looked up and smiled and had an innate joy and peace about her we couldn’t explain. Since then, she has proved to be just that. Even when things aren’t great, she has learned to take it as it comes and be resilient. She is a loyal, smart, gorgeous glow for everyone she encounters. The years have flown by and we cherish every one of them. 15!!!!! How??!!! Keep being true to your amazing and authentic self, Anna. We love you so much!!! ❤️ M&D by @adriannebugg

HAPPY HAPPY POST ALERT!!

Our delightful, dashing, determined, talented and kind boy is 18 today!

So much to say!! But I will leave that for my excessively long bday card that you will keep forever and ever and ever.

For now, y’all cheers this kid (ack- no longer a technical kid)!!!!

And, D, remember, “Never follow anyone else’s path. Unless you’re in the woods and you’re lost and you see a path. Then by all means follow that path.” Thank you again, Ellen Degeneres. Words to live by.

THIRTEEN. 13. THIRTEEN

If you see this girl…wish her a very happy birthday. She’s a teenager, y’all. How did this happen, we all ask? Take a look at his precious little baby girl who is still a precious little baby girl and will always be our precious little baby girl…even though she is not so little anymore! Anna arrived without hesitation into this world ready to take it on and that is still true today. Sprite, Boo, Lovie Loo, Annie B, Anna Banana, Annie Banannie, Annaboo, Boo Bear: We love you SO much and are so proud of the girl you are and the lovely young lady you are becoming. Oh you guys!! My dear sweet boy is 16 today! What a ride it has been so far. Time is a thief and a gift!!

Davis- The day you were born was a day of indescribable joy…and pizza! The first time I looked into your big, beautiful, blueberry eyes I knew you were an old soul with a huge heart. You have only proven me right in your 16 years. You have taught us as much as we have hopefully taught you- patience, kindness, the ability to look at things a few different ways. You have always known who you are and stand in your values. Dad and I admire you and love you so, so much. Keep it up, my not-so-little- anymore buddy. With our whole heart, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
