crazy that it’s already been 3 weeks since leadership college ended. i’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on the last 9 months and i can confidently say it changed my life.

one of the biggest gifts from lc was the community. i met some of the most genuine, encouraging, and faith-filled people who became family to me. getting to serve alongside them in ministry, grow together, and do life together is something i’ll always be grateful for.

when i first felt called to join lc, i was hesitant to give God my yes. i knew it would require sacrifice, but these last 9 months have shown me that God sees every sacrifice we make for Him. He never overlooks it or wastes it. He is faithful in our obedience.

this season has definitely been a refining one. when the Lord trusted me to REALLY test my faith, i could’ve easily given up, but instead i found myself applying everything i learned at lc, choosing to obey God even when i didn’t want to, and choosing to fight the good fight. i still think about pastor matt telling us to “suffer well” and how much that has carried me through difficult moments.

i am SO thankful for the leaders, teachers, pastors, and friends who poured into me and helped shape my faith. 9 months ago, i didn’t feel good enough for the Lord to use me. i suffered with shame and guilt which held me back. now, i know i am freed, called, redeemed, and loved by Him. (isaiah 43:1) i’ve learned how much i LOVE people & that true growth happens in the discomfort. He’s shown me that being available and obedient to God is always worth it.

my faith is stronger, my confidence in Christ is deeper, and i am a completely different person than the girl who first walked into lc and it’s only because of Him 🤍 this is just the beginning by @adrienneann_
