Three years ago, I had my first knee surgery, and the dream of playing professional soccer had never felt so far away. Then, a year later, I had my second knee surgery, and at that point, I thought it was impossible.

But every day for the last three years, I’ve thought about the moment I’d finally be able to step onto the field and play in front of thousands of people, giving everything I had while knowing how quickly that opportunity can disappear.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine it would happen the way it did yesterday. Playing in front of the home fans and coming away with a win made it even more special.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this possible, and I’m excited for what’s still to come. taken in Mercedes-Benz Stadium by @adrigill10

For the last 7 years I have been able to call FC Barcelona my home and there is no greater privilege than that. But today, I announce my departure from this club. I’m so thankful for everyone at the club, from my teammates and coaches, to the physios, doctors, surgeons and directors who made the last couple years as easy as possible. It’s with a heavy heart that I leave, but I know that I will take what I’ve learned here everywhere in life. Gracias a todos!❤️💙 by @adrigill10
