I directed a show for @wbgames starring @ronfunches and @johncodystuff! Ron plays video games while stuck in the WB basement with special guests and his sentient dust ball puppet friend. Episode 1 has the great @brennanleemulligan! It’s available on the WB Games YouTube channel! 4 episodes will be rolling out over the next few months. Truly could not have done it without @adrileya and @james3rdcomedy.

💌 James has shown up every day for four years with steady, intentional love. His love is in the special coffee he makes for me every morning; the way he always makes SURE I see the sunset or a bird or flower or cute dog I would love; in remembering the type of specific glass and amount of ice I will always need in my Diet Coke; asking me when I seem tired if I need a break from being perceived and then vanishing when I nod “yes” weakly; texting me cute GIFs from across a room telling me he misses me; the countless times a day he tells me I’m beautiful. His love is in the time he dedicates to communicating with me in healthy ways, and allowing me grace when I mess up. His love is in listening to what I need.

I love James for all that he is and in all of the ways that he loves me, and the pure freedom he’s given me to love him back. He is one of the whip-smartest, funniest, infinitely fun human beings I know (his one-liners are simply devastating). He floats on the energy of a party and soaks it up with his laughter, serving food he crafts meticulously, each ingredient brought to the best version of itself. He’s brilliant and hardworking, especially at the things and for the people he cares about. He is a man who loves the world, taking over the vegetable garden in Maine I begged for and then hastily abandoned; diligently refilling the bird feeder every other day; cuddling the wayward neighborhood cats; staying up for hours feeding a wounded hummingbird with sugar water on a Q-Tip. He is self-assured, confident, inquisitive, and introspective.
