I grew up in the ole church where we used to have testimony service no matter how long it took God was gone get what he deserved !

My life has drastically been changing through the confusion, doubt, MY PAST shondo ! My faith has increased vastly because I decided to say yes even when it looks crazy. This opportunity was presented by a good friend. I applied with doubt, not having a thought of being selected, but it was within those watchmen hours God said get up. I check my email and He came through.

I’m a regular 23 year old kid, with a regular job, not knowing how I was gone go, if my days were flexible, if my money was going to stretch. I’m a believer God will shift the directions of things for you to be in places you think you aren’t ready for and for places He has called you for.

I can say picking up a camera again was by far a move of God, but one of the best yes’s I’ve said yes to thus far !

This experience bless me tremendously ! It revived my soul. I connected with many great artist and creators. THE PRESENCE OF GOD WAS HIGH !

Thank you @blackchristianinfluencers and thank you Jackie, You’ve built something the community needs and that will last a very long time !

Keep creating even when it looks crazy !

Dear 23,

I once believed
I had buried this gift somewhere
between the closing of one chapter
and the uncertainty of the next.

That poetry had packed its bags,
left without saying goodbye,
and abandoned my hands
to silence.

But seasons have a way of proving us wrong.

Because somewhere between loss and growth,
God struck a match in a place
I thought had forgotten how to burn.

And now,
there is a new spark.

A new love that teaches my heart
to beat with expectancy.
New light that reveals corners of me
I never knew existed.
A new sight that refuses to let me live
with yesterday’s vision.
Fresh air that reminds me
grace is something breathed,
not earned.
Fresh legs to walk roads
I once feared I’d never travel.

The mountains haven’t disappeared.

Challenges still stand like giants,
and doubt still knows my address.

It sneaks through unlocked windows,
whispering questions louder than truth.

Yet every morning,
I am reminded again
of how good God has been.

And through the faith of those around me,
I’ve discovered a deeper revelation:

Sometimes God lets you borrow someone else’s faith
until your own eyes can see Him clearer.

Im 23 ,
I don’t pray for applause,
or platforms,
or the kind of success the world measures with numbers.

I pray it unlocks a version of me
people would assume only time could produce.

A wisdom beyond my years.
A creativity heaven can trust.
A life that looks less like ambition
and more like surrender.

Because I’ve seen enough of the world
to know it cannot satisfy.

If my hands create,
let them create from eternity.
If my mind grows,
let it grow in wisdom before influence.

And if my name is remembered at all,

let it be because I spent my years
chasing the One
who lit the fire I thought I had lost. by @adrinray

I went back to my roots —
where vision first met me.

Every chance I get, I’ll say it again —
I fell back in love with a camera.
Not just the click… but the feeling behind it.
The editing — the re-creation and process.
The capturing — the revelation.
The essence — that’s the message. by @adrinray
