Summer of Magic. The High Sierra always asks me to show up and believe in myself. I was surrounded by so many lovely humans this year, and I am grateful for every day down there. What a gift. by @adrislims

Sierra High Route- an off trail adventure with the most incredible folks. So many passes, views, talus scrambles, and nights snuggling in a tent under the beautiful Sierra night sky. On day 3, Karis and I met two people hiking the route and we joined forces, forever helping shape the belief that you can move your body in the mountains for as long as you desire. So grateful. by @adrislims

Squamish! Dance, disc golf, endless granite routes, exploring the Tantalus and consuming handfuls of thimble berries. I felt even more apart of the community there this trip. So grateful for adventures with you @ryanried by @adrislims

Spent some time in northern Arizona with a bunch of young adults in early May. Magical things are possible in the desert. Everyone and everything has something to teach us. by @adrislims

After locking off and crimping huge holds in the Red last fall, I think I’ve started to understand steeper climbing terrain this past year while traveling to climb. It was fun to step away from the techy tuff we all know and love, to gain new perspective in my own body and of the land we recreate on. It’s super nice to be back crimping and dancing my way up walls while clipping newer glue ins. Our park is so well loved by its community and I’m so happy to be a part of it. 📸 @timothy_scribano_photography during a fun day at the Infirmary last fall by @adrislims

Brief time with my favorite granite, reconnecting with friends in the Bay, the smell of eucalyptus trees in the forest, and all the yummy foods Oakland has to offer. After being on the move for over a year, feeling nourished in friends homes makes me extra excited to dig in and recreate home in central Oregon. Drinking tea from beautiful ceramic mugs with loved ones never felt so good. by @adrislims

Welcomed home in South Carolina with a wonderful two week visit with my family. Felt super nice to have access to foods I’ve missed (really just kombucha), a warm bed and hot shower at my disposal, and hours of time to learn more about my beautiful mother’s life. I’m so grateful for her endless love and support and have appreciated the time to hear more about her life experiences, not just her role as my mom. Looking forward to our next adventures in the RRG and then back to Oregon! by @adrislims

From a scratched cornea to a torn ankle ligament, I was a top rope queen during our time in Spain. The last month of our time abroad definitely challenged me but was beautiful nonetheless. We explored so many areas from Rodellar, Tverga, and crags near the Picos de Europa. Our hope was to climb in the mountains but sadly with the wildfires and honestly with the state of my ankle, our time unfolded much differently than anticipated. Grateful for my cute, patient boyfriend climbing ropegun.

It’s been quite a year. Actually 14 months of travel. Every day I feel so lucky and desire “more of this”. I’ve done a lot of reflecting on my biological age and my physiological age, finances and how best to live simply but also indulge, what home means to me and the power of community. The climbing community overlaps in beautiful ways, and I love that you remeet people from all over the world. I’ve experienced deep generosity from friends and am always seeking for ways to extend that ripple to others in my life. I’ve been able to check some bucket list items off and have added more. The world is pretty special and there are so many places to see and rocks to climb. by @adrislims

I’m used to long approaches and bringing a second bra to change into after grueling, sweaty approaches in the mountains. Chamonix taught me a new way of convenience and access to some of the most spectacular routes, and oftentimes without breaking a sweat. Expensive lifts, for a reason, carry you up on the highest gondola in France from 3000 ft to 13000 ft in a matter of minutes. The mountains are extra inviting when you can finish a route and are back in your warm home in under an hour. There is a lot to observe in this town from the busyness of tourism, people walking around with their cams swinging from side to side, dodging the train of folks eating gelato in their mountaineering boots. It’s weird and absolutely amazing at the same time. I’m glad I experienced it, have so many more routes to try, and definitely want to come back. I’ve felt a huge amount of generosity from friends that helped make this month an amazing experience. You all know you who are, and I cannot thank you enough 💕 by @adrislims

Spending the beginning of summer in the south of France has felt as romantic as I’ve always imagined that phrase to be. Fresh breads and cheeses, open fields, the sound of bells from grazing goats, wild flowers, and limestone galore. Arriving to Ceuse feeling physically strong, I was challenged mentally and with the crowds trying routes that typically are in my “style”. Our minds are powerful and influential and I love that part of climbing, whether you feel flowy or are forced to confront insecurity and doubt. We’ve moved from Ceuse to other crags near Briancon, and are now venturing in the Alps. I’m stoked to be back in the alpine, the happiest of places for me and my climbing. by @adrislims
