22 birthdays I’ve been lucky enough to celebrate you! Happy birthday to the man who ages like a perfectly aged bottle of wine & 38 years old have never looked so incredibly handsome on you! I cannot express enough how deeply grateful I am to have you in my life. Every day, you show me your love and devotion in the simplest acts, like always making me laugh, blow drying the girl’s hair, being our safe space, showing up for every single soccer/flag game, dance competition and endless dance events. You are a man with a heart of gold, and a man who brings immeasurable joy and comfort to those around him. Winter wonderland for my babes!

As the girls get older, I realize I won’t make these cute December 1st set ups for much longer. Cue the ugly crying. For now Cam still has a countdown on her iPad for December 1st. She reminds me about 3x a day how many days until December and how many days until Christmas. She sets her alarm extra early to look for the elves. She told me the elves outdid themselves from last year. Izzy goes along with it for her. Last year she found out the real magic behind the elves, mom. This morning, I saw her eat the goodies off the table, laugh with her sister, squeeze her squishmellow, take pictures of the set up, hug me and say thank you. I hope when they’re older they remember the holiday magic I try to give them. by @adrisolisguardado
