A forte presença de comunidades do leste asiático ajudou a moldar a identidade multicultural de Vancouver e se preservaram assim até hoje. É incrível!!

Campeãs da Hungria 🏆

Esse ano, o título vem com um sabor agridoce. É um sentimento de muito orgulho pela história que esse time construiu ao longo da temporada, com toda a resiliência e o comprometimento demonstrados mês após mês. Mas também é triste estar distante em um momento tão especial.

Hoje eu chorei.

Chorei de tristeza pelos meses de voleibol que a lesão me roubou. Chorei de emoção ao ver pessoas tão trabalhadoras e corajosas conquistando seus objetivos. Chorei de saudade dessas pessoas. Chorei porque são momentos como o de hoje que fazem toda a dor, os medos e as dúvidas valerem a pena… só que dessa vez, eu não tive a oportunidade de sentir isso na pele.

Ainda assim, o sentimento que prevalece hoje é a gratidão.

Gratidão por ter feito parte desse grupo. Por ter conhecido essas pessoas. Por saber que consegui deixar uma parte de mim ali (e que isso foi o suficiente para continuar sendo feita presente, mesmo na minha ausência).

Sou imensamente grata pela parceria das minhas companheiras, pela empatia e humanidade desse clube e pelo apoio e carinho dos nossos torcedores.

Obrigada por lembrarem de mim. 😭

The nature of every athlete is resilience.

I don’t know if resilience is something you’re born with, or something you learn along the way. But one thing is true: it’s impossible to stay in sports without learning how to overcome challenges again and again.

And this is where I am right now: probably the most vulnerable moment of my career, getting ready to use all the resilience I’ve built over the past 18 years.

When the season started, I didn’t imagine it would end like this. I had big expectations when I signed with Vasas: fighting for titles, playing the Champions League, working with people I admire. I pictured a very different season.

But this is the hard part of reality: things don’t always go as planned.

Even so, I’m very grateful for everything I experienced in Budapest and for all the support the club has given me, specially after my injury. This just proves that great clubs are made of great people.

Thank you to @vasasvolleyball , the board, my coaches, medical staff, the fans and specially my kind and nice teammates for all the support, care, and respect during this difficult moment. Your encouragement means a lot to me. 🥹

After a few months dealing with shoulder pain, on December 29, 2025, I suffered a dislocation during practice. Because of this, I had a labrum injury that needed arthroscopic surgery to get it repaired. It’s not a serious injury, but recovery takes time and patience.

The first step is done thank to Dr. Henrique Schaffhauser @henrique.schaf and his team. Now my part of the game begins. 💪🏼 to recover and be prepared for all the good things next season will bring for me. ❤️‍🔥

Thankfully, I won’t go through this alone. I have the love and support of my family, friends, and the most kind and supportive husband I could ever have @87andreluis
Love you guys very much.

There’s nothing like being home in a moment like this. 🥰

Most of all, I thank God.
He writes every imperfect detail so that, in the end, I can live the perfect plan.
