This shoot was 90% improvised, so short on time and we made some magic happen. Some of my best work! 🍯

Literally my favorite photo from 2022, and usually I’m very indecisive but @mothermelle you killed it! ♾️✨ taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @adrwstudio

“just do something natural.”

every photographer’s favorite thing to say.

and every person’s least favorite thing to hear when they suddenly forget what they’re supposed to do with their hands.

for the record, nobody feels natural the second a camera comes out.

that’s why the best photos usually happen somewhere between the posing and the laughing at how awkward the posing feels.

Personally when me and @spoiledbytrelove worked together we took some pictures of the most raw photos, just by walking around and improvising every single shot. He showed up and I showed up and we both went to work.

You don’t get many people that you can create with just freely, and it turns out good and even sometimes your best work. My guy! by @adrwstudio
