Had the pleasure of hosting The Craft PDX's first creative art party for kids! Such a fun experience, and bringing out each child's inner creativity is why I do this!!

Private Art Parties 🎊 at The Craft PDX 🎨🏔️ Hosted by @adtartistry (Alexis, owner)

Looking for a fun birthday idea or a creative art activity for your kiddo and their friends? Our private parties are super hands-on, low-stress, and all about letting kids make something they’re excited to take home.

A few quick details parents usually want to know:

🫟 Ages: Pre-K through 5th-ish (older kids totally welcome too)
🫟 Length: around 2 hours
🫟 Location: The Craft PDX studio in Tigard
🫟 What we do: fun guided projects with lots of room for creativity
🫟 Mess level: definitely messy, but don’t worry — we’ll handle all the cleanup 🧹✨

We set everything up so kids can just show up, get creative, and have a great time with their friends.

UPCOMING WORKSHOP with @adtartistry 🧚🏼🏡✨ Haunted Fairy House Building!

Get ready for a spooky, Halloween-inspired craft night at The Craft PDX! Enter the enchanted woods and build a tiny home fit for a spooky little fairy! In this all-ages workshop, you’ll use scraps of wood, moss, greenery, and plenty of tiny treasures to create your own woodland scene and haunted fairy house. Bring your imagination and get ready to make something delightfully eerie. 👀👻✨

*Due to usage of hot glue guns, littles should be accompanied by an adult! We will have volunteers but help from parents appreciated.*

Each $35 ticket includes all materials for your project. Bringing friends encouraged! Each guest grabs their own ticket.

Workshop Recap! Alexis of @thecraft_pdx hosted a Haunted Fairy House Building workshop at our neighbors upstairs at @senetgamebar! 💙🧚🏼👻🕸️✨

I was so blown away at everyone’s creativity at this fun night! I love doing workshops because everyone has their own spin on the project, it’s SO FUN to see everyone’s artistic side. 😎

Special thanks to Senet Game Bar for allowing us to take up space and create (and serve the best food & drinks in town)!! 🍻🌯

September’s Kids Workshop at The Craft PDX was…SLIME LAB! 🫟✨

Kids of all ages made their own batch of slime, added glitter, charms, and tons of personality. We even decorated our own travel jars to take it home safely! Such a cute workshop ☺️💕 One of the best things about our workshops is that the mess is made here, and we handle allll the cleanup 😆🧹💫

Introducing October’s Kids Workshop at The Craft PDX...CLAY HAND BUILDING PUMPKINS! 🎃✨

Join local ceramicist Amy Emrany (@amyemrany) for a special 1-hr Kids’ Art Workshop! Young artists (all ages) will make 5 mini pumpkins in various styles. Our friends at @cascadeceramicsstudios will bisque fire them, then glaze them, in up to 5 color choices. 🌈 Pumpkins will be fired a final time and be ready approximately 2-3 weeks after class. Older kids can try pinch pot pumpkins as well. Come join the Fall fun and grow your pumpkin patch with these cute little handmade pottery pumpkins! 💫

Each $25 ticket includes all materials and instruction by Amy Emrany, experienced ceramics instructor.
