And now we patiently wait for answers. ✨🎗🤞

Cancer surveillance scans are complete.
This life is so incredibly beautiful, and I've been doing my best to soak up every single minute of it. So many miles in so many breathtaking places with so many incredible people I've been lucky enough to share it all with.

I'm hoping to keep running forward, chasing big dreams, and collecting beautiful moments. But sometimes life asks us to pause, even when we're not quite ready.

For now, we wait. And hope for more miles, more adventures, and more of this beautiful life.
Good vibes appreciated. 🎗✨🫶

Aimee’s Triple Crown of 200’s chase may have ended at the hands of Mother Nature here at the Moab 240, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t an epic adventure pushing the body, mind, and soul to 203 miles. Hear her initial post race thoughts here 🗣️ taken in Moab, Utah by @adubs.runs

Moab 203.9 Race Recap. Unfinished Miles.
The hardest part of Moab 240 was the ending I never got to run.

It was beautiful, challenging, messy, and everything I love about ultrarunning. There were moments I felt absolutely wrecked, only to find myself running strong again miles later.

We had one HELL of a women's race. @ashkickn was absolutely crushing it. @brogansunemploymentworldtour told me at mile 96.5 she was going to quit, only to rally, share some miles, and then take off. Both inspired me to keep digging deeper. I was ready to throw everything I had into those final 42 miles. I wanted us to have the finish and race we'd been fighting for, both for the podium and the Triple Crown CR. At the end, we still had 3 women in the top 5.

Mother Nature had other plans. Nearly 200 miles in, conditions on Geyser Pass became legitimately dangerous. Falling trees, insane winds, hail, torrential downpour. I was told the race was canceled after I was almost blown off the ridge of the last big climb. I ended up pairing up with another runner and our pacers, bushwhacking ~9mi off the mountain because conditions were too dangerous for anything else. And just like that, the race was over.

HUGE shoutout to my incredible crew and pacers @ryanmiller34 @warnke168 @expat_mel @victoriaallenthebig3 You made this adventure what it was. I couldn't have asked for a better team to share this journey with.

Now I feel a mix of being grateful but also disappointed and a little empty. This was the culmination of a year spent chasing a dream. And with another round of cancer surveillance scans Friday, I was holding onto this finish as a little bit of closure before facing another unknown.
I started this Triple Crown to test what was possible, but also to prepare myself mentally and physically for whatever life has in store. I thought I'd walk away with answers. Instead, I'm walking away with more unknowns.

But the miles were real. The friendships are real. The joy, the grit, the ridiculous adventures, ALL real.
203 miles. No finish line. Just a whole lot of feelings I'm still figuring out.

Yesterday at check in, we chatted with @adubs.runs about her mentality for the Moab 240 — it revolves around some pretty tough stuff she’s been dealing with lately. However, her positive outlook is so inspiring and, currently our third place female at mile 47.1, it’s safe to say she’s crushing it out there! taken in Moab, Utah by @adubs.runs

3️⃣6️⃣9️⃣ DAMN SHE FINE!
Moab 240. Bib #369. IT'S TIME. 🏜️🔥

Tomorrow I take on the final race of the Triple Crown of 200s.
The goal? Chase the Triple Crown course record.
The BIGGER goal? Raise $35,000 for CHRISTUS Children's Cancer Center. 💛🎗️
And we're LESS THAN $12,000 AWAY!!! If you've been waiting for a reason to donate, this is it. Every dollar matters. Let's make these 240 miles count for something bigger.

And on a sentimental note, what a freaking year it's been. 🥹 From wondering if I'd run another ultra to standing here ready to chase one of the biggest goals I've ever dared to dream.
The next race is never guaranteed, especially with my next cancer surveillance scans 1 week after starting this race. So I'm going to soak up every mile, embrace the hard, chase the ridiculous, and have as much freaking FUN as humanly possible.

HUGE shoutout to my amazing crew and pacers who came out to make this one heck of a party @ryanmiller34 @expat_mel @warnke168 @victoriaallenthebig3 (joining tomorrow!). I couldn't do this without you!

Let's freaking DANCE Moab. 💃🏜️🔥❤️

Tomorrow, Team Injinji Athletes Aimee Warnke and Kelsey McGill take on the Moab 240.

Covering 241.8 miles with nearly 32,000 feet of elevation change, the Moab 240 is one of the world’s toughest ultramarathons. Winding through Utah’s remote desert landscapes, canyons, slickrock and mountain ranges, this multiday adventure pushes runners to their physical and mental limits.

Best of luck, Aimee and Kelsey! Wishing you and all runners a strong race and an incredible journey across the Moab backcountry!

Next week I’ll be lining up at the Moab 240, the final race of the Triple Crown of 200s.

And I’m not just going there to finish.

I’m going after the Triple Crown course record 🏆

240 miles through the desert.
One of the hardest races in the world.
And one massive goal.

But this race is about more than a course record.

By the time I cross the finish line, I’m hoping to raise $35,000 for CHRISTUS Children’s Cancer Center.

This cause is incredibly personal to me. I’ve seen firsthand how devastating cancer can be, and how much the doctors, nurses, researchers, and families at CHRISTUS Children’s Cancer Center fight every single day.

So I’m asking you to help me turn 240 miles into something bigger.

If you’re willing, donate.
If you can’t donate, share this post.
And if you want to follow along, buckle up.

Because the goal is simple:

Run 240 miles.
Chase the course record.
Raise $35,000.
Make every mile count.

Let’s see how much good we can make out of 240 miles❤️

Donate through the link in my bio.

The audacity of chasing a Triple Crown course record before ever running a 200mile race. 😂
A year ago, it sounded delusional. Today, it feels a little less so.

But this journey has became about so much more than being competitive.
It’s peace in the miles, joy in the build, friends who make the miles fly by, exploring beautiful places, and building a body and mind strong enough for whatever life throws at me.

Now the work is done. I’ve surprised myself with what we’ve been able to stack since Bigfoot, and while this goal is still a BIG reach, somehow it feels a little less delusional than it did a year ago.
Tahoe ✅ Bigfoot ✅ Moab, you’re next. 🏜️🔥
Taper time. 💃 Let's see what we can do and how much fun we can have doing it. ✨

Training big. Dreaming bigger.

Peak week ✅️
Big miles. Big lifts. Late nights. Early mornings.
One more big block in the bank.
One very big dream waiting in Moab. 🏜️🔥

Dream ridiculous things. Then do the work.
