מרפי שפגשתי במושב בשבוע הראשון לאחר ה-7 באוקטובר. הלכתי ברחוב והוא פשוט הופיע. התקרב אליי, נתן לי ללטף אותו והמשיך בדרכו.
הייתי נסערת רגשית וראיתי במפגש איתו רגע מכונן. אולי יש תקווה, אולי כן יגיע בסוף חמור לבן. הגאולה בתוך כל הכאב הזה. אולי זו רק תזכורת שהכל ביחד. בכל זאת, המשיח לא בא.

הרגשתי מוכרחה לצלם אותו. הגעתי שבוע לאחר מכן עם בד רקע שחור שלקחתי מבועז, חצובות ואסיסטנטית מספר אחת - אחותי.
עשיתי את כל המאמצים למצוא את בעל החמור, זה היה פשוט האמת, צביקה וחיות המשק שלו, הגו טו הראשון שלי.. אבל התיאום לקח רגע.
כל החבר׳ה במשק חשבו שאני איזו מטורללת שלוקחת עכשיו את מרפי למרעה, מעמידה בד רקע שחור ומבקשת ממנו להצטלם.
כולם הסתכלו עליי ועל מרפי, אחותי הביאה איתה את השקט והאיזון הנכונים. מרפי ואני מצאנו את התדר. מאז אותו קליק, מאז אותו יום אני ממש חושבת שהוא זכר אותי. באחד מטיולי החורף במושב פגשתי בו שוב, הוא בא אליי וכאילו אמר ״שלום״. התלטפנו והתחבקנו ארוכות והוא המשיך ללחך חובזות גבוהות. צילמתי אותו עוד כמה תמונות. בעריכה התחברו לי הפריימים ליצור בין כלאיים המורכב מאותו אחד, רק חדש. הנה הוא כאן. מרבה אור וטוב בעולם. כמה שרק אפשר בתוך הדו קיום שלנו של הנסבל ובלתי נסבל. taken in Tel Aviv, Israel by @adva.dror

Just Before Dawn, our first single from the upcoming debut album Forever Still, comes out on 2 October!
A few months ago we spent a day in Adva’s studio making the photographs for this album. We were in the hands of a dream team of women who made us feel safe, comfortable and playful enough to simply be ourselves.
@adva.dror with whom we felt an immediate connection. She gave us the warmest ground to dance on, just as we are. An artist to her core, and a true privilege to work with.
@corineswed , who styled us with a wonderful eye and dressed us for the Wes Anderson world we stepped into.
@inbali_ who did our make-up with a gentle hand, and whose wit kept the room laughing between takes. Stunning outfit by @roz.studio
