Ironman 70.3 Washington

This has genuinely been the hardest training block of my whole life. I’ve trained for many different events and competitions before, but none as demanding as this one. It’s also been my most enjoyable. The early mornings, late nights, hard training days. It’s been extremely amazing to see just how much i’ve been able to truly push my body and mind throughout this prep. Aswell as the friends and training partners i’ve been able to meet or share a workout with.

The month of September is extremely special to me and there was a specific reason that I chose to race during it. September is National Suicide Awareness Month. Suicide has become the 3rd leading cause of death between 15-29 year olds. Statistics like these are not just numbers, they are your friends, your family members, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters. No one who knows you wants a world where you aren’t in it. I strongly encourage all of you to check in on all of your loved ones, but most importantly yourselves. You are loved. You are meant to be here. It ALWAYS gets better. It’s not weak to speak. Call or text 988. ❤️

A HUGE thanks to every single person who has helped me achieve this goal. I’m extremely grateful for each one of you.
