Is there anything better than an Easter spent completely off-grid, riverfront, and surrounded by nature?

We were so grateful to spend Easter here—this place is truly something special✨

The kids and Troy absolutely loved the Easter eggs, and Taylor had the best time doing an Easter egg hunt 🐣

Set right on the Clarence River, the views were incredible.
There’s even a sandy beach at the front of the site—perfect for sandcastle building.

The best part? Only one booking at a time… so you get the entire place to yourselves.
Multiple camp spots to choose from with fire pits ready to go—pure peace and quiet ✨

Just note: you’ll need to be fully self-sufficient (toilet & water), and it’s 4WD access only and dogs are allowed.
This one’s definitely going on our favourites list!

What a week it’s been ....

Parenting two kids with additional needs - different challenges, different supports - but both simply needing extra patience, understanding, adjustments and support.

Some days I honestly wonder why things need to be made ten times harder than they already are for these guys.

One school showing up, being flexible and doing everything they can to support our child.
The other making simple things feel unnecessarily difficult.
We will get there, but it’s been a journey already.

But not matter how heavy it feels, I’ll always show up.
I’ll always speak up.
I’ll always fight for what you need and have those uncomfortable conversations that need to be had.

I love being your Mumma and advocating for both of you ❤️

2026 Trips Planned so far .....

We’ve already started planning our 2026 adventures and we’ve got a few new places already booked.

- EASTER : NSW on the Clarence River at a Hipcamp Australia property.

- OCTOBER : A week on Fraser Island in a house.

- DECEMBER : Tassie for Christmas - Road Tripping and staying at air bnbs.

We have never done Fraser Island before, so we are really looking forward to this trip. So many beautiful places there i can’t wait to see!

There’s honestly nothing better than getting out in nature, slowing down, making memories and just soaking up the simple moments together.

Who else is already planning camping trips or weekends away?

One minute we’re surrounded by thick rainforest, fresh air and hidden waterholes 🌿💧
Next minute we’re chasing waves, sandy feet and salty hair 🌊☀️
This is what adventure looks like — changing scenery, making memories, and embracing every challenge along the way 🤍
We had a few hiccups at both locations but I’ll post about that a bit later.
Because the journey is always worth it!
Would not have it any other way ❤️

Good old Facebook memories 🏕️
Three years ago today was our very first camping trip.

I remember Troy and I saying, “Let’s just give it a go and see if the kids like it — what’s the worst that can happen?”
Plenty could have gone wrong, and not everything was perfect, but we had the best weekend exploring together. We definitely learned a few lessons about what to change or bring next time to make things easier.

Fast forward three years and we’re more in love with camping and the outdoors than ever ❤️

At our recent Hipcamp, they had a fresh produce shop right on the property — nothing like fresh eggs and bacon on your first morning of camping! 🥚🥓

Sarah and Chris, the lovely hosts, were so friendly and welcoming and even delivered our goodies to the campsite.

We love supporting local families, exploring their farms, and experiencing their beautiful properties. 🌿
