“A lot of people want to do what you guys are doing, but no one actually does it.”

One of our parents said this to us before we left and it really rang true. We feel super lucky and grateful to be able to live our dreams.

People in the United States live to be about 80 on average.
Obviously it could be less or more. I know I’m not going to live forever.
The truth is we never know how much time we have left ⏰

I think that if you start treating this summer like it could be your last one, you’d start to do things differently.
You’d stop saying that you’ll do something later because you realize that there’s a chance that there won’t be “later”.
Which then forces you to figure out what’s actually important to you and worth doing now. by @adventuresandchill

We left because it’s what we’ve always wanted. To finally live a life we wanted to, and not what we thought others wanted us to do. We packed our bags and put all of our stuff into storage.

We didn’t have a plan. Just a one way ticket.

We are so happy with our decision. We think that the 80 year old versions of ourselves would be pretty stoked too.

🧂 We visited the world’s largest salt flats in Bolivia, a surreal landscape that feels like stepping onto another planet.

🚘 This adventure takes 3 days, and along the way, you’ll visit incredible places like the otherworldly Dali Desert, the colorful Red Lagoon, and geysers at Sol de Mañana.

🦩 The highlight for us was seeing so many flamingos and spending a night in a hotel made entirely of salt — walls, beds, floors, everything!

Welcome to the largest alpine lake in North America, and the 2nd deepest lake in the US, Lake Tahoe

It spans across 2 states and is one of the most beautiful lakes we’ve ever seen. The water is crystal clear with cool rock formations, and it’s perfect for a refreshing dip. Water temperatures are typically quite cold and the current temperature is around 56 degrees Fahrenheit

We haven’t looked back. It’s been a whirlwind, but also, time seems to standstill in moments. We cherish everything. The ups, the downs, the little things, the people, the experiences.

Traveling teaches us so much about the world, ourselves, each other. It’s the most humbling, amazing and adventurous thing and it is what we both value so much.

We chose to live this life and we are SO grateful we GET to do this.
