POSTS STORIES REELS

At the end of this month, I’ll have been doing “my little travel business” for 2 years, and little did I know where this journey would take me. ✈️

It’s safe to say it’s definitely not my little business anymore. It’s my pride and joy, and I’m so grateful I took the leap 2 years ago.

This business has allowed me to grow as a person and truly believe in myself. It’s given me friendships I didn’t know I needed, a focus through hard times, and most importantly, it’s enabled me to be more present for my children through changing my career.

You know the saying, “What is meant for you won’t pass you by”? Well, that saying couldn’t be truer.

Back in October 2022, I joined a call about this business and honestly thought it sounded too good to be true. Fast forward to April 2024, I had started this Instagram page and was following a few mums already doing the business. I reached out to one of them and trusted her when she said this could work for me too.

I’m so glad I made that decision because, at the end of the day, if it was working for other mums, why couldn’t it work for me?

Now, 2 years in, I’m happier than ever, so grateful, so proud of what I’m building, and so excited for our future 🫶🏻. by @adventurescreatememories

A little bit about me 🫶🏻 thank you to everyone following along on our adventures. If you aren’t following yet & you’re a mum chasing adventures with your family, creating those memories & you love to travel then you’re in the right place 🌍.

If you’re also like me & want to create an income that allows you to work flexibly around your family then message me & I’d love to help.

Local team catch-ups 🥰

It’s so lovely to connect with women who love travel, want more from life and are creating new opportunities for themselves by building a business around their existing work, family life and other commitments.

When I started my business, I never imagined it would introduce me to women I genuinely connect with, have so much in common with and love spending time with.

That’s one of the things I love most about The Travelhood. ❤️

Yes, I started because I wanted to travel more, earn extra income and have greater flexibility around family life. But I’ve gained so much more along the way.

Friendships, confidence, shared experiences and the opportunity to help other mums and women discover what might be possible for them too.

Everyone has their own reasons for starting and their own idea of what they want this opportunity to bring to their lives. I feel genuinely privileged to support them as they work towards that.

It’s so much more than just a business & there’s nothing more powerful than women cheering each other on. 🥰 by @adventurescreatememories

POV: you’ve found the cosiest countryside escape… and there’s a Highland cow involved 🐮🤎

We stayed at Cheeseman’s Farm Cottages and this was such a lovely little getaway!

🔥 Cosy evenings by the log burner
♨️ Your own hot tub
☕️ Afternoon tea
🐮 A Highland cow experience

The Coozy Stay experience at Quex Adventure Farm Park is just a short drive from the cottages and included meeting the gorgeous Edward before tucking into afternoon tea 🥹🤎

Our cottage slept 4, but there are 4 other cottages too, sleeping different group sizes, with the largest accommodating up to 9 people, so it could work just as well for a family getaway or a weekend with friends.

Honestly, this is exactly the kind of stay I love… somewhere cosy to switch off, a little experience to make memories and plenty of cake along the way. 🏡✨

If you’ve been following a while thank you for staying around, the community I’ve made on here I’m so grateful for & if you’re new here hi 👋.

Hi, I’m Clare 👋🏼

I’m a mum of two, a wife, a former teacher and someone who felt like life was on autopilot. I loved my days off & weekends but lost my enthusiasm for teaching & everything that goes with the job & I lost my spark with it.

I loved my family life, but I also knew I wanted more.

More time with my children.
More freedom.
More family adventures.
More opportunities to travel and make memories.
And, honestly, a little more of me again.

I didn’t want to choose between being a present mum and having goals of my own.

That’s what led me to building my travel business alongside family life.

I’m still a mum figuring it all out, still doing the school runs, still dealing with the chaos and still learning as I go. I’m not here because I have it all figured out. I’m here because I’ve realised that sometimes you just have to be brave enough to explore what else might be possible.

So if you’re a mum who loves her family more than anything but sometimes wonders, “Is this really it?”…

I see you.

And I’m here to show you that wanting more doesn’t make you ungrateful.

Maybe you can have both. 🤍 by @adventurescreatememories

Marsh Farm’s Halloween Festival did not disappoint! 🧡

From the moment we arrived, it felt like Halloween had taken over the whole farm, decorations, spooky characters & pumpkins.

The kids loved the Slime Live show & sand art and I thought the pumpkin village was cute. As always they enjoyed Dinosaur Adventure & this was a great for taking shelter from the rain for a little while 🦖.

There’s also a disco and plenty of opportunities to burn off some energy in the play area or on the jumping pillows, basically everything you need for a full day out with the kids & not forgetting the animals 🐐.

If you’re looking for something to do over Halloween half term head to Marsh Farm 👻🎃

🎃👻 A Trick or Treat Trail like nothing we have in Essex..

We headed to Quex Adventure Farm Park for their Trick or Treat Trail and it was such a fun Halloween activity 🧡

The trail takes you through the spooky woods, where there are Halloween characters, tricks, treats and surprises along the way… then jump on the Slime Blaster Express (tractor & trailer ride) to shoot at the targets & escaped chicken before heading to the Bewitched Pumpkin Patch to choose your own pumpkin 🎃

And that’s not all…

🧙‍♀️ Trick or Treat Trail
🍬 Halloween treats
🎃 A pumpkin for each child
🚜 Slime Blaster Express
🐄 Full access to the Farm Park for the day

I love a Halloween activity that feels like a proper day out, rather than something that’s over in an hour and the fact that your ticket includes the Farm Park means there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained before and after the trail too! 👏🏻

From the moment we arrived, it felt like Halloween had taken over the whole farm - decorations, characters, pumpkins, rides, animals, slime & more.

The kids always enjoy it at Marsh Farm & the weather wasn’t on our side today but we managed a few hours of fun before the rain 🌧️. Luckily, there’s plenty of shelter at the pumpkin patch and lots of indoor animal areas and activities including Slime it Live, sand art, dinosaur adventure & a disco 🪩.

POV: you thought pumpkin patches were just for daytime… 🎃✨

Still can’t get over how GOOD @hattersfarm was this year!

We’ve been coming here since Scarlett was a toddler & every year it just gets better. This year, WOW, LOVED it, & visiting for Pumpkin Nights made it feel completely different. Seeing the transformation from daylight, to dusk, to DARK was SO magical. ✨

The pumpkin wonderland lit up at night was honestly beautiful, and then the light trail and lights across the lake were magic ✨

It gave me ALL the Christmas light trail feels and I’m definitely not ready to skip straight to Christmas, but this has got me excited! 😂🎄✨

If you’ve never visited before I highly recommend Pumpkin Nights at Hatters Farm, SAVE THIS for next Halloween because it’s definitely one I’d recommend adding to your list. 🎃

If you’re local to Essex & have been before but never at night..you need to go 🤎

The mushroom gummies with multiple health benefits 🍄‍🟫✨ Use discount code CLARE99352 for 15% off. ✨

I’ll be honest I’m at the stage where I’d try anything to help & when these kept popping up on my Instagram because of what I was typing into Google I thought I’d try them when they reached out.

I wasn’t expecting to notice a huge difference, but after taking @ankhway.life gummies consistently for the last 6 weeks, I have noticed a change.

The three things I was particularly interested in them for were brain fog, mood swings & bloating and I’ve personally noticed the biggest improvements in bloating and mood swings so far. I’ve still had some days where the brain fog is real but who knows if that ever really disappears when you’re a busy mum.

🍄 Lion’s Mane – included for focus & cognitive support
🍄 Reishi – associated with mood & stress support
🍄 Shiitake, Maitake, Black Fungus & White Button – the mushrooms Ankhway highlights for gut support

For me, I’ve felt more focused, my mood feels more balanced and I’ve noticed less bloating. It’s only been 6 weeks so I want to take them for longer to see the long term effect but I’ll keep you updated.

They’ve been so easy to add into my morning routine, just 2 raspberry-flavoured gummies a day. They contain 10 functional mushrooms, are made from fruiting bodies & each pack has a months worth.

Have you got any of these symptoms that you’ve been looking for something to help with them?
