The month of October 🐈‍⬛🫡

While experts & welfare groups note, there is no concrete evidence or confirmed statistics showing that black cats face higher risks of ritualistic abuse or sacrifice during Halloween, persistent urban legends still make some organizations extra cautious during October 🖤🐈‍⬛

So shelters like some in Ontario ban black cat adoption, to prevent people from using them as temporary Halloween decorations or novelty props 🐈‍⬛👍🏽🖤

Exploring the autumn woods safely!

Keeping your kitty on a leash and harness (or in a secure cat backpack) lets them enjoy the crisp air, crunchy leaves, and wildlife sights without the risk of getting lost or hurting local animals 🎒🍃
