Back in Syria after 6 years! It feels like a step back in time at the magnificent Aleppo Citadel! 🇸🇾 More than just a fortress, this is one of the oldest and largest castles in the world dating back over 4,000 years to the 3rd millennium BCE. Its dominance is no accident. This hilltop stronghold was the vital strategic heart of Aleppo, which was at the crossroads of the Silk Road. Its location also made it an essential military fortress and administrative seat for countless ruling powers over the millennia, including the Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans and several others. A Tour of Le Tour 🚴🏼🚵‍♂️ This summer I had the incredible opportunity to experience the Tour de France 🇫🇷 for the first time. I followed the tour from the rolling hills of the North of France down to the Pyrenees and to the Majestic Alps before the finish in Paris. Witnessing the race up close, from the excitement of the start to the intense final moments of a stage, was a truly unforgettable experience. It’s a sport of incredible athleticism, tactics, and grit. Swipe through for a few highlights of the race, riders, and memorable moments. A Hopeful Tattoo: The lion symbol refers to a stuffed plush lion given to the Maillot Jaune (Yellow Jersey) winner of each stage 2. “Wow!! What the f*^\k !! Oh My God! “ is the only way to describe what we witnessed last night. Listen with the sound on to hear the NSF.W reactions 🙉😂 Another amazing display of aurora by Mother Nature to end a perfect week. 5 out of 5 nights with strong aurora and some clear skies. This is exactly how we saw it in the sky, no editing done here. The aurora was that strong and danced for a couple minutes overhead. If you have the aurora on your bucket list this is the year to do it. The solar cycle is at its peak this year. Don’t wait. Go now!
