Today, my heart is full of gratitude to God. ❤️

Sometimes God gives you a role you never expected to carry. You start as a sister, but life teaches you how to become a mother, a protector, a guide, and a safe place for your little brother.

Junior, being your sister has been one thing, but being there for you, raising you, guiding you, worrying about you, praying for you, and watching you become the man you are today has been a completely different journey.

There were moments I wondered if I was doing enough. Moments of worry, moments of joy, moments of disagreements, and moments when all I could do was pray and trust God. But today, looking at you as a husband, I can only say: God has been faithful.

Seeing you begin this new chapter with the woman you have chosen fills my heart with so much joy. My little brother is now a husband. ❤️

I thank God for carrying us through every season and for allowing me to witness this beautiful day. I may have been your sister by birth, but life allowed me to love you with a mother’s heart.

Today, I release you into this new chapter with love, prayers and blessings. May God guide your marriage, protect your home, give you wisdom, patience and understanding, and may your love grow stronger with every season.

Junior, go and build a beautiful home. Be a good husband, a good friend, and a man who fears God.

From being your sister, to being your second mother, to now watching you become a husband — what a journey.

Thank You, Lord, for bringing us this far. 🙏🏽❤️ by @advocate.linah

The Broken Chair reminds us that the work for peace, justice, and human dignity continues. Standing tall despite its missing leg, it symbolizes resilience, hope, and the responsibility we all share in building a better world.

Honoured to have served as both a facilitator and panelist at the 11th EAAP Annual General Meeting & Conference in Dar es Salaam under the theme “Leveraging Technology in Combating Wildlife and Transnational Organised Crime.” 🌍⚖️

I am truly proud to contribute to important conversations on dismantling digital illicit financial flows linked to wildlife crime and strengthening regional cooperation in tackling transnational organised crime.

Sharing knowledge, engaging with distinguished prosecutors and experts across Africa and beyond, and representing TRAFFIC International in this space is a milestone I deeply appreciate. Grateful for the opportunity, the connections, and the impact we continue to build together.

The work continues. 💚
