life looks a little different to me these days.

i’ve spent the last few weeks relearning how to be in relationship with my body, mind, and soul. celebrating the quiet milestones daily.

through the solitude, healing, and hard days, it all keeps leading me back to gratitude.

i’m grateful to know what pain, exhaustion, and uncertainty feel like, because they’ve taught me to recognize joy when it comes.

the ordinary feels sacred. and maybe that’s the beauty of a quiet life. i get to be present enough to realize how much there is to be grateful for.

If you had told me a year ago that I would be getting baptized today, I wouldn’t have believed you. I grew up rejecting the word of God because I thought it wasn’t a place for someone like me. I refused prayer, kept my heart closed, and ignored the signs and messages He was placing in my life.

Until I hit rock bottom, and had nowhere else to turn.

That’s where He met me. At my lowest. He forgave me, lifted me, and allowed me to feel His Holy Spirit in a way I can’t fully put into words. He took my brokenness, my shame, and my pain, and began turning it into something beautiful.

I am not perfect, and I never will be—but that’s exactly why Jesus died for me. Not for perfection, but for redemption.

Today, I stand here choosing Him. I lay down my sins, my burdens, and my past at the cross. I declare that I am His.

I am saved—and I am living proof of God’s unconditional love for the broken.

Wildroses 25’

where do i even begin. this is my third year back on these special grounds. second year volunteering and the first year where i feel as if i fully arrived.

i’ve been sitting on this idea of what it means to arrive for the last 5 days. before @mandytrapp held her breathwork session, I sat with this idea and asked myself “how can I arrive? how can i fully show up and become the version of myself living in absolute presence?”
and then it hit me.
I will never allow myself to be fully present if I don’t acknowledge the grief I have for the person I used to be. I can’t grow without allowing myself to be angry when I need to be. Allowing myself to feel things so deep it shakes the world around me. And for the first time in a long time, I finally feel like I have fully arrived into my body.

This marks a huge chapter coming to an end, and a new chapter unfolding. What a way to temporarily say goodbye to Edmonton, and hello to my new life in the mountains.

Thank you @wildrosesfestival and @wildrosesmatriarch for everything. I love this community. taken in Evansburg, Alberta by @adysonderges

been home for a few days now - i was so blessed to be able to join my sweet aunty @jana_roemer and @lysacooper for their retreat in mexico. although it was a more spontaneous decision, it couldn’t be more clear that this was supposed to happen. it was quite literally written in the stars 😆.
i’ve been called to this area of the world multiple times over the last year and there were no mistakes in those signs.
this retreat was transformative and served as a beautiful affirmation of the path i’ve chosen in this lifetime.

grateful for all the sweet souls i got to connect with during this time - face to face, or in spirit.

trust the process, and surrender to nothing but the purest light in your heart.

thank you, mexico. 🤍🪬✨ taken in El Pescadero B,C,S by @adysonderges

The ocean and her vessel carry so much more than just “water.”

She carries purification,
renewal,
portals,
high dimensional beings,
lost civilizations -
everything.

She brings messages from the moon through her tides, telling us to slow down, inviting us to heal and connect. Reminding us to play, and to celebrate all of the good in our lives.

To bring us to this state of playfulness, she selflessly takes in what we cannot hold anymore, and returns it to Gaia to be reborn.

She graciously took my grandparents’ cremated bodies and sent their souls back to Gaia to dance together in a new life.

Thank you waves,
Thank you Gaia,
Thank you Hawai’i.

Till we meet again. ✨👁️🌊 by @adysonderges
